Works well. You have to hold the button away to record. It will sound better. We told our puppy “press” and gave her a treat. After a few tries she was pressing to get a treat. So cute!

I bought two buttons to try out with three cats. My cats are clicker trained and have a treat dispenser that has a button for them to activate. Since they are able to use a button to activate the treat dispenser I figured these should be a blast. Took about 3 days for the first button to be actively used. Would have been 1 day, if the buttons were more sensitive. The buttons are stiff and my cats have to put a good amount of pressure to push the button. They would hit the button but not hear the sound because the buttons are so stiff. They're a bit pricey for such small buttons.

I like the set and instructions. Pretty easy to train my dog with it. Problem is, when pressed it does not always play the word and it causes confusion in my dog. The buttons seem to need to be long pressed otherwise it doesn't work. A quick press and release will not always play. I think it would help if the button was more sensitive to touch. Might find a different brand.

I just got these in yesterday. My puppy is six months old and I talk to him all the time. He is so excited that he can talk to me now too. He is picking up the words very quickly and loves the buttons they are easy to use. Easy to record. The colors of the hextiles help a lot. Worth every penny. Will be buying more soon I started with 12 buttons and we are already using 4.

My cat is 3 years old and I have a hard time deciphering when she wants her scratches vs when she wants food. This is one of the best purchases I've done for my pet, because I am hopeful she will start being able to tell me what she wants. I'm about a week in and so far I've gotten to have her press and learn one button somewhat. I have to do say that you will need to be patient, as for each animal is different. It comes with a QR code that you can scan and read a general set of advices and tips. And please, do not start with the word Treat or any food related commands. I did scratches, as she LOVES scratches and now she can once in a while let me know when to give attention. Do not expect your animal to quickly learn and be able to teach it multiple words at a time. Patience is the key, and slow and steady wins the raise. The only thing I wish was different was the amount of pressure that it takes to press the button. It is a plastic button, so it has to *click* to make a sound, which proved difficult for my cat to learn how much pressure is needed. A little bit more sensitivity would help, especially if you pet is on the lighter side, or gentler. But overall, still happy I purchased this and I'm excited to see what new vocabulary my cat can learn and "talk" to me.
