These are amazing and they're actually so true to the sound that you can hear the slight wave distortion when you play songs on them through Bluetooth. I use a Wiim receiver through optical to play Spotify through these speakers, which sounds great. My only gripe with them is that when there's a silent part of a song, the speakers make a slight clacking sound when the silence ends. I'm unsure if that's the speakers' fault or because it's Spotify, but it's a bit distracting.

These are great for a small room . The sound is clear and crisp with surprisingly good lower end . Of course the the addition of a sub would help but these stand alone just fine for my application . I’m my opinion these are a good speaker for the value .

Great looking small speaker, very nice build quality. The fidelity and clarity at medium volume levels is great for a small speaker. Not enough bass at times, I do recommend a sub woofer. The volume is limited however. I have these in my home office and they are perfect for background music when I’m working. At times I want crank up the volume but these speakers do not deliver on that. The Bluetooth works flawlessly. I will be keeping these because they meet my needs 80-90% of the time.

These are pretty great. I am able to use them with bluetooth with my laptop or phone, use them as additional surround sound from my tv using optical and you can add a sub which i haven't yet. Honestly, they have a pretty full sound as is. My one complaint is i think they could go louder especially if the bass is turned down but they have a clear cut off. Some sources they seem lackluster while others quite loud but still clear and full so the sound is always great. Turning down the bass doesn't allow them to push any harder though s you get what you get. I have tried them with a DAC I have laying around to pump the bass on them and they become very alive for cinematic use with this low end rumble. It's not so much a sub sound, but a very solid lower mid range that does shake the walls a bit. They don't get as loud, but this is likely due to the source being RCA in this case vs the optical. This sound is NOT attainable without an additional EQ source and its something I use as an extension to my tv's sound and not the main source, but it is impressive. Honestly, these are great quality, look great, are well built speakers with awesome sound. They are just limited a bit by the built in DSP and amp, maybe the bigger ones fair better. I will prolly get the ai61 as I want to see the diff and i'm very happy with these. I have no regrets (this is rare with sound equipment) and they literally connect to almost everything. No speaker is perfect, but pound for pound these have impressed me for the size and I would buy them again without question.

I recently replaced the a pair of the Klipsch R-41PM with the Fluance Ai41 on my bedroom stereo which I use for streaming high-definition music using an optical connection.. These speakers are similar and cost about the same. The switch was made with initial regret because I really loved the Klipsch R-41PM. The Klipsch have a warm, accurate sound -- so honeyed that I wonder if they have a special codec on board. However, whatever the Fluance speakers give up on sweetness, they make up for in more wattage and a driver that is one-inch bigger. They are louder and more powerful, with detailed sound that rivals the Klipsch. The bass is bolder and they sound nicer at lower volumes -- better able to drown out ambient noise in the house. They are like studio monitors in that they sound good when you are close to them, with is good in the small bedroom. So I now prefer the Fluance speakers. They also have bass and treble controls on the remote.

They were delivered on a Friday, after waiting 2 weeks for them to ship. The box (that you are supposed to keep for returns) is destroyed. They were in decent shape but, they do not power on. Amazon will not return them, you have to go through Fluance. Trying to find how to start a return on their website is ridiculous, and to top it off they are closed on Saturday/Sunday’s. Other reviews state that the customer has to pay for return shipping? I sent them a message, but I was too late as they were closed. Will continue to up date this review with how Fluance will handle this. Currently 1/5 stars update 8/16: Was emailed a listed on how to trouble shoot them not powering on. Called them and was able to finally drive home that they were damaged and won’t work. I had to email photos of everything and In supposed to received a return label via email. They stated that once the item is returned and they received confirmation from UPS they will ship out replacements. ********UPDATE 9/14********** Fluance shipped me a brand new set free of charge. Return process wasn’t bad, they sent me a label to print. (Not sure why people are saying you have to pay to ship them back) The new ones showed up in about 2 weeks. I’ve had them for awhile now, I’ve been listening to vinyl once a day, even using the Bluetooth function. They are great. They seem to effortless fill the room with sound. It’s crystal clear paired with the RT82. During the break in they seemed to get louder and louder. They have quite a range of volume. I haven’t even needed to adjust the bass/treb. Not sure why everyone says they need more bass. I feel they are sufficient. They have sort of a hollow body guitar/acoustic guitar feel to their bass. Very much so enjoy them. Paired with a subwoofer I can see these being a great option for a surround sound due to how they fill the room with sound. New rating 5/5 stars.
