I really like this lamp. The materials seem like good quality and it gives off a nice warm glow. I like that it has two light shades, cool or warm and that it’s dimmable. I usually don’t bother writing reviews but I was really disappointed with this one and hope to save others the trouble of ordering it. I’ve tried the real $700+ flowerpot lamp in person twice. So I thought this dupe would be just like it with 3 different levels of brightness when you tap the top. The light is too dim to write or read under unless you’re less than 1 foot away. I don’t like that it goes from warm to cool to natural light temperatures. That simply doesn’t make sense. It should be warm to natural to cool. Aesthetically, it looks nice and has a good weight. If you want a very dim lamp that’s for mood light, this might work? Anyway, I’m returning ... show more

Like his legendary "S Chairs", Verner Panton's "Flowerpot Lamps" (and pendant lights) have always been a staple of Interior Design. They have been marketed in dozens of colors over the last 50-60 years, but I've always wanted a Yellow one. And this is the perfect hue of Sunshine Yellow!
