I do a lot of baking and I am very pleased with the 3 Cup Flour Sifter. I love that it is large enough to handle 3 cups without making a mess. The flip-over wire and hand crank reminds me of being in my grandmother's kitchen making cookies or perogies. I ordered this style because of my grandmother and because my previous one was a hand-squeeze type that did not last so I figured a different type may work better. In my pics, I tried to show the before and after sifting flour. It does an excellent job of fine sifting, breaking up any clumps plus sifting ingredients like flour, salt and baking soda together. I found it easy to use, gentle on my hands and quick to wash up. For quality, materials, design and value I give 5 stars.

This works really good and holds about 2 cups of flour. My only complaint is some flour lumps at the bottom and I have to push it through by hand.

I bought this for a scone recipe, I love scones. I can’t bake. I can’t bake at all. I was craving scones for like a month. I bought the ingredients and then realized I needed to “sift” the flour. So I remember my grandma having one of these. She was a mean German lady who baked so many things. Anyway, as mentioned, I wanted some scones, bad! I bought this. It sifted through the flour like a boss. My scones were basically not yummy nor edible, the deer did like them, but I think it’s because I suck at baking and not because of the siftage of the flour which was as smooth as flour could be.
