I really like the look of this lamp in my bedroom. I got a pair of them to put on each side of my bed. The lamp tall and sturdy. I found the measurements in the listing were a little hard to figure out and some of the photos in the listing confused me on the actual size. Once setup the height I found to be perfect for what I wanted to use these lights for. Putting it together was a little bit frustrating because you have to string the cord thru a series of bars. Pushing it thru the bar isn't difficult but getting it to come out the other end was annoying. The cord comes folded up so it's not perfectly straight when stringing it thru and at the end of each pipe I kept catching on this inner lip from the rivet that you screw each pipe together from. There's multiple pipes and it happened stringing every single one of them so it was a little time consuming to put together. Another issue I had was the remote. It's just complicated. I like remotes that just have a circular button that is a color and when I push that button that color comes on. This remote is a pain. To get the color you want you have to push a setting where it fades in to each color and you have to time it just right to tap the button when it gets to the color you want. The light heads themselves are very touchy too because they each have two buttons on them that are flush so sometimes I'll go to move the light head to a different position and by just touching it the colors or settings change. In the pictures I posted the light hitting the wall. It looks very centralized and kind of sloppy but it's just the photo. In person it beams against the wall much smoother. I think the camera is just catching glare from the satin gloss on the wall. I do really like the look of this lamp though when I get it to the colors I want and it's positioned correctly. For the price I think it's a great lamp and very stylish. I just think it has a few minor design flaws. I did buy a second one so it goes to show you I still am happy with the product.

This floor lamp is really easy to put together. Each part of the standing pole screwed in flush against its neighboring piece, and the electric cord threaded through pretty easily. (Note: Obviously, thread the cord through first before putting the standing pole together. I made the mistake of nearly completing the pole before I realized this, and then had to take it all apart again. But to that end, the pieces came apart and screwed back flush against each other *again*, with no silver threaded metal peeking out between the joints, and really impressed me.) Since I'm a bit of a minimalist, I really liked the slim design of the floor lamp, and the sleek design of the lights themselves. There are two touch-sensitive controls on each light -- the one on the back adjusts the brightness (three levels), and the one on the side opposite the magnetic suction changes color (white, warm yellow, and an RGB option). You simply tap to get get the effects you want (although the remote control seems to have the full spectrum of light changes). This is also pretty cool. I also really like that you can pluck either light off its magnetic arm and use it as a wall sconce, say, next to your side of the bed if you wanted to continue reading as your partner drifts off to sleep. I have to say, this standing lamp is best for either ambiance or as a soft reading light. The LED lights themselves aren't particularly bright enough to light up a whole room, but they do provide enough light to keep your eyes comfortable at night so you can get drowsy before bed. My biggest, biggest frustration has been with the remote control, which only controls one of the two lights, but doesn't really do that well. So I'm stuck with having to get up and change the lighting manually. Since it irritates me that everything has its own remote control these days, maybe that's just something I'll eventually get used to. All in all, it's a very interesting idea. I just wish there was a bit more thought to the control mechanisms for the light. I'm not the first customer to have issues with the remote.

The pictures shown are all on the lowest brightness setting, which to me, is more than enough to work with as the lamps mount with magnets which means they can be turned in any direction desired with ease. Going back to the beginning. Decent packaging then the setup. I simply went to start "stringing" the cord through just the first section of the piping/light poll when I ran into a huge issue. The power cord is way too large to be put through this tube and after 40 some odd minutes of futzing with it trying hangars, screwdriver at the other end, twisting the cord, straightening the cord, attaching something to the cord and attempting, it all failed so I ripped that right out of the socket which I personally don't recommend you do. In the end, all I had to do was cut the socket off and string it from there but this one beat me lol. As for the lamp itself, the quality, base, remote, they're absolute amazing as the amount of features it has makes me want to actually buy one here and give it another shot with cutting the end and stringing it through that way. So far, I've had the lamp on low for an hour and they're both still kicking. I'd imagine I'll have to charge them every night or few nights but with the magnets, it's a simple task. So, when you assemble this, think twice before ahem, pulling the cord out as the 110v capability would've put this lamp into the 5 star and beyond category as it can get extremely bright, offers a ton of options and the remote is very flexible with setting options!
