Absolutely love the look and functionality. But do consider that the lights will be very bright since the outer piece is clear. You definitely will want this lamp in a place behind your eyes. The lamp did start to leading slightly after a few months.

Assembly was really simple, the box came with everything organized and in place. All I did was remove plastic, screw in the long poles (3 parts) and then screw the glass shade and the holder on the bottom. The light it comes with is pretty bright, it does the job in my living room but its is not fluorescent white, it is more of a off white. There is no usb connectors, just a normal plug in and a step to power button for easy use. Overall, the lamp is sturdy on the carpet and even more durable on the hardwood floor.     • Easy to assemble, looks great!
I bought the mesh and glass shade, and replaced the standard bulb with a Philips Hue filament bulb. This was easy to assemble and looks great! I'm currently using it over my desk for some task lighting, but I hope to eventually use it as a reading lamp with a chair in my bedroom. The box was well packaged and the base is heavy. The lamp was pre-wired and it was easy to slide the sections of the pole up and screw them in. The base was a little more challenging to screw in due to the weight. I saw other comments about the lamp not being level on carpet- I haven't had any issues with low pile area rugs- carpets have a tack strip that creates a bump around the perimeter, that was likely the cause of the lamp not standing straight. ... show more

This lamp looks perfect in our living room. It was easy to assemble, and is very sturdy. No lean like some of the others we’ve tried from the big box stores. The frosted glass shade provides plenty of light for the room without hurting your eyes if you look near it. One of the three shades of light matches the adjacent rooms perfectly. A little smaller than expected but the perfect little accent lamp. Super cozy. Quality of the glass and metal is great though. I like that the button to turn it on/off sits on the floor so you just have to step on it.
