Assembly was easy and its very bright. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is when assembled it leans due to the weight up top versus the skinny pieced together stand. Its like 5-6 pieces to screw together which weakens it. 2-3 pieces would be easier and stronger and may take the lean out of it.

For one of the sections of the pole, the threads twist together tightly, but then any movement pops the threads out of alignment so the whole thing wobbles.

The description said that this takes 50-100-150 light bulbs, but it only takes single watt light bulbs. To further confuse things, the manual that comes with it says it only takes 100 watt light bulbs. The bulb barrier was warped and you cannot face the light to fully face the ceiling. Lamp is terrible quality. Power cord doesn't route through side of base but instead the base has to sit on the power cord. The plastic turn knob on the back of the lamp unit was broken upon unboxing. Threaded tubes that compose the stand are low quality, easy to strip if not aligned perfectly. Top of stand with bulb housing does not rotate as advertised. Very tough to rotate and mine would not turn so that the light would be facing straight up as pictured on the listing. Returned immediately. ... show more
