It's a cheap buy and you can tell. We set it up in our apartment and it literally leans. We're need to place something heavy on the base to make it stand up properly. After having the light on for a bit, the bulb seems to flicker brighter and dim off and on. Not sure if this is because it doesn't stand up properly and then coding inside is messed up? The shade part is cheap and looks like they glued the ends together where they wrap around and meet. I needed a light, it lights up the living room, but it's very cheap. When I buy another light, I'm definitely willing to spend a little more money for a better quality lamp.

Went together easily except for the shade. Have never had to assemble a shade before which was strange, but turned out okay. Directions say to glue the shade, but you flip it on then it Velcro’s closed. No glue necessary. Like that you step in it to turn it off & one. Sturdy. Looks like a much more expensive lamp, so terrific value to f you don’t mind some assembly

I had some old walmart college kid level lamps prior to these. I'm like come on Ash, you're 40 now, not living in a bachelor pad. Spruce things up! I wanted lamps with an earthy feel. I have lots of wood, bamboo, so I felt the linen would fit right it. It did. I bought 2. One for a plant table and one for the dining table. Perfect low lighting at night for a nice movie with that special somebody. Just wish they were a bit taller. Had trouble screwing the pole into lamp base, and they seem to slightly lean. Otherwise, Chefs kiss.

This is perfect for reading under the sofa. The bright need is very bright and also stylish. I think it price was pretty fair for what you are getting. It comes with the light bulb as well FYI.

I really wanted to like this because it is nice looking. It does go together easily and looks pretty good but is it just too wobbly. I have it on low pile carpet with a weight on the base to try and keep it stable but it is still very wobbly. It may be OK on a hard floor.

I dislike nothing. I received exactly what I thought I would get, a lamp to brighten a corner that looks modern and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Very easy to assemble and is a really good reading lamp. It wouldn’t survive the Titanic but who cares?

Instructions called for glue (they meant Velcro), but the theme might as well have been. The middle pipe’s recess was missing 2 rungs so the lamp couldn’t full assumble without leaving a silver metal gap in the middle. The enormous MADE IN CHINA symbol couldn’t have been more true. Not worth the $40. $14 would have been more appropriate.
