Ordered 2 lamps. Easy to set up! Nothing to fancy which for the price not sure what anyone would be expecting besides a functional lamp that works! They are both bright and sturdy and actually look pretty good. The on/off switch is on the cord and can be used on the floor which I actually like just a simple little foot tap. I got the 2 for some dark areas that have no lighting and they actually work great and lit up the area pretty nice. I would say overall worth the price and no issues! This lamp is an inexpensive design, but more than gets the job done. The features that I was looking for were all present: - normal light socket - simple on/off toggle - works with LED bulbs The simplicity of the rest of the design was also greatly appreciated once I saw it in person. This lamp is a nice thin design, with a cloth shade that snaps into a simple wire frame and stays connected to itself with a strip of Velcro. The look is very reminiscent of lamp shades that my grandmother had at her house when I was growing up and I think it works very well in my living room even today. I appreciate that the simplicity of the design and the inexpensive nature as well allows me to insert a Smart bulb into the lamp. This allows me to get a lamp that is easy to change the lighting on, either via an app, or using Alexa/Google voice commands. This lamp has a very thin pole which causes the lamp to be rather unstable. I purchased a similar lamp for a few dollars less and liked it much better for two reasons. This shade is very small compared to other floor lamp. The pole is very thin compared to the other one. I'm not thrilled with this lamp but I am not willing to try to dismantle it, pack it so tightly and send it back. ... show more
