I enjoy the minimalistic design, I actually eventually customized it applying window film around the glass ( can also decoupage colored tissue paper, many things and it's lovely in the space. I love the foot switch and dimming options.

This lamp was easy to assemble and looks great—a bit higher end than its price, I would say. Other reviews seemed mixed sbout whether this came with a bulb, but ours came with a Edison bulb as depicted. Works great, and love the floor switch. If you don’t want a floor switch, it’s easy enough to add a remote outlet with a button to turn the light on. Very happy with this.

This is a very attractive and well made lamp. I prefer lots of light in a room; but most lamps are not very attractive if they don't compliment the furniture in the room. This floor lamp has a flat heavy base to keep it stable and the cord has a foot control. The stylish slim metal lamp post rises 66" and makes a short bend to allow the clear glass shade to drop down. The lamp itself almost disappears into it's surroundings, but gives out a lot of light.

I have been looking for this type lamp for the longest time. I wanted a lamp that would sit behind me while I worked on the computer in my office. If I found a lamp that would work then came the problem of finding a lampshade that would allow enough light to filter through that was high enough. This lamp solves all those problems!! Despite the stem being slender, once screwed together it feels rock solid. Take your time screwing the stem together as it is easy to strip if not done carefully, but once done it gives the appearance of a single metal stem. The glass lampshade does the trick in that you don’t have to worry about positioning because the shade is clear and quite stylish. The on the floor switch is pretty neat as you tap it once to turn it on and keep tapping to dim, so depending on where it is positioned you don’t have to get up to change the lighting. There is so much to love about this light!! The only thing I wonder about is replacing the bulb which might be simple, I just don’t know. But until that is required, I'm going to enjoy having this lamp!!
