Took me 10-15min to assemble. Put some double sided tape on it so the mattress stays in place. The LED lights were not bright at all so I replaced them.

This YORMDMO queen size floating bed frame replaces the traditional pedestal and boxspring frame we had in the guest room. We downsized our house after experiencing the empty nest, and the floating style frame gives us new underbed storage space as an added bonus. I was impressed by its smart design, with inward-slanting legs that aren’t visible from the outside, giving the illusion of floating while keeping my toes safe from stubbing on the old base. I love the engineering that went into this frame. The parts fold down so that they fit into the shipping box measuring only 9.5”x5”x40.5”. I also love the ambiance that can be created with the built-in LED light kit, controlled through an included remote (the LEDs can also be controlled by smartphone app). Experiment with colors, brightness, and even dynamic music modes to create your unique vibe. Another nice feature is that the control panel, into which the LED light strip plugs, includes a super handy charging setup with a 120V grounded outlet and two USB ports (1 Type-A & 1 Type-C), making it handy to keep your devices powered. It’s built tough, out of square metal for stability. The assembled frame is squeak-free. It was easy to assemble too—the documentation is very clear and easy to follow. No box spring is required with this floating frame. My only small hassle was installing the bracket for the control panel; one of the two threaded mounting holes was stripped from the factory. I ended up pinning the backside gently with a small flat chisel, which restored enough thread contact to complete the assembly. 5-stars!

This does not look like it's floating at all in my opinion - it's just a basic black metal bedframe with LED lights underneath and a charging port. It's not bad just not what I expected, it's sturdy, pretty easy to put together, it just does not look like it's floating in my opinion.

I was surprised how quick and easy the assembly was. When I unboxed the frame, I separated all parts by part assembly letters. I opened the bag of screws and allen key. As I assembled, I snugged the screws up but didn’t tighten any until it was fully assembled. This I find helps prevent misalignment or warping when working with something large. I have the 8 inch floating frame. I opted not to install the LED lights yet. I can add that later if I wish. It is a little low for me so I will get a thicker mattress. I like that I don’t have to use a box spring on this. The frame has plenty of slats to support a mattress itself. I can also add plywood if needed. I didn’t time the assembly but I would estimate about 45 minutes is what it took me.

Assembly wasn’t too bad. I enlisted the help of my son since it was for him. We just upgraded him from a full to a queen and this one seemed like a good fit for him. The led lighting is right up his alley and he loves it. A big plus is the charging station. Again, for my son, he gets good use out of it regularly but I think for most, it’s a good addition. As far as the quality, it does look and feel strong and sturdy. Thus far, he hasn’t complained about any noises, creaking, etc. so I’d say the sturdiness goes right along with that. Overall I think the value is there versus the cost. The overall quality looks and feels good and the added features was enough to take it over the top for my son. He loves the new frame along with the new larger bed size. I hope this helps you!
