This water hose has more kinks than I've ever seen in any other hose I've had. Way more. Also this hose doesn't expand and is just really narrow. The only good thing about is that it's fairly light weight. UPdate: I bought this hose in 2025 and even though it doesn't expand like I thought it would it's now the best hose I've ever bought. It's lasted without any leaks at all and it's very lightweight. It no longer kinks up at all. I've bought two other expandable hoses and they both leaked within a year. I bought this hose for around $30 in 2023 and was looking to get another one but now it's $60. Oh well. ... show more

Surprisingly good for a 1/2 inch hose. Light weight, easy to use. My wife can find nothing to complain about, which is a very high compliment indeed. At first, I thought it kinked to easily; but once we got used to it, it was fine. Excellent product.

I immediately used it to put water in my pool and an oil came out of it. I emailed the company but they never replied. It is lightweight but the water outputis much less than my other hoses.

I just received this hose so I can't comment on its durability yet. But I wanted to address other comments about its diameter and "having low pressure". This hose is narrow, a 1/2" hose instead of the usual 5/8" garden hose. The product information is misleading there. I should take away a star for that, but it's really a nice hose otherwise, so I'm going with 5. The fittings are nice quality and don't leak at either end when connected to the hose bib and my spray wand. As far as complaints about it kinking, all hoses kink if you don't get the shipping curl out of them. The hose came tightly rolled up in a small box and I took the extra minute and a half to fully straighten it out before using it. I then loosely coiled it on my hose holder. When full of water I did not have any problems with it kinking. I watch to make sure I'm not pulling any loops tight as I pull it along. Because all hoses kink, even the ones that claim to not kink. Other commenters claimed it "did not have enough pressure". Hoses don't create the pressure, your water source does. Actually, the smaller the hose, the higher the pressure of the water leaving it. Maybe they meant it didn't have enough volume. Right, a 1/2" hose will transport a smaller volume of water than a 5/8" hose. I found it to be perfectly adequate for watering my potted plants. I found I had to reduce the water flow with the wand for the smaller pots, as would be expected. A decent hose. I hope it will be more durable than the one it is replacing. ... show more

I bought the 100 and the 50 foot sizes for two areas of the yard. Both are okay but just okay. Both came with small tears in the jacket from factory showing quality control issues. I got them specifically because of the light weight. I hope they last. The most severe issue for me is a lack of flow and that's from the high-restriction connectors. The hose is over a half inch but the connector necks-down to 3/8 so you have 1/4 the flow of a 5/8 hose. I don't think this hose would be appropriate for any pressure or flow sensitive implements. ... show more

Extremely low water volume flow rate compared to a normal hose. This hose (50' size) has flow restrictors permanently installed at each end, unsuitable for watering a big garden. Would be ok for small pots on patio but this is not a normal hose. Be aware before you order it. This information is not included in the product description. See pictures of actual hose restrictors before you buy. The hose itself is nice, but only if you want a slow flow rate. ... show more

My family has been through a lot of hoses that just never held up but these have been going strong for years. We usually used the 50 ft ones, but I found the 100 ft on Amazon and it exceeds all of our gardening needs. This house is so durable, as long as you take care of it you’ll have it for a long time.
