I love how this backpack feels! Its old fashioned jean feel, other canvas bags are way too hard and rough for me. It feels nice on my back and I can pull it against my back to feel more relaxed. I didn't get a product tag that says what it's made of which is a bummer but it feels polyester or a mix of polyester and cotton on the inside. It has 3 outer zipper compartments and 1 inner zipper compartment. The zippers do make noise when you zip and if you have them close together at the top of the backpack but you can close them together at either side bottom and they stop making noise (clinking together). I don't like any noise drawing attention to me that's why I mentioned the sound. It's an easy on and off backpack but I have it loose fitting the way I like it. The backpack does not stand up on it's own when you put it down or when you put stuff in it. It can stand up (keep it's shape) sometimes when you lean it up against something. I put a Dickies big yellow cup and a Pringles can in the cup pockets to show how big the cup pockets are, no they did not stay in the backpack lol.

This backpack is just as described, quite soft but also durable. It's light and can carry a lot, but I wouldn't overload it. It also looks great while you have it on your back, it's not bulky looking like other bags even if you fill it.

It's easy to say "it's a bag and holds stuff", but for the price, this is a solid choice. Especially if you're the type of person that just needs something simple to carry around some daily essentials. I've had mine for two weeks now to bang around before writing a review, and it's become my daily driver to and from work. As a bag, it's simple: three zippered pockets, two smaller inner pockets in the main pocket. About that pocket, there is a divider made of the same fabric as the lining, which is fine for separating things like a large book from smaller items, but it's otherwise useless. Since there's no padding, it isn't good for carrying a laptop without a separate padded laptop protector. It's large enough to carry a 13" Macbook Air though, so if you have a protector, this isn't a big deal. Still, good to know. The secondary pocket is equally thin. For quickly-grabbed items this is perfectly serviceable - I carry a modest-sized sketchbook around with a small pencil case, which is easy to get out without having to rummage around. If you're carrying something light but bulky, like a thick paperback, it will make the bag push out awkwardly. It's almost as deep as the main pocket, so that's to be expected. Add thinner items, and this won't be an issue. The front pocket is as basic, but sturdy with the canvas and without the lining. Throw pens and pencils, keys, small hand lotion bottle, it'll hold fine. I'd recommend keeping something firm in there as well since this is a floppy bag when empty. The real reason I've docked a star is for the shoulder straps. On a bag of this size, I'd expect more robust and padded straps, since there's enough space for books and other heavy items and feels strong enough to hold them all. These are thin, narrow straps, and while they're connected fine, they're less comfortable than I've had on other, similar and similarly-sized bags. For commuting, great. For something like hiking or long walks, it can grow uncomfortable. Padded straps, and I'd consider giving the overall bag five stars. Without them, and with the thin lining material, it gets docked a few points. Still, if you need an easy bag to carry things around you don't have to worry much about, this is a solid option. Especially if you can get it on sale (I found it for $19.99) it's an impulse buy. Just be careful with the center pocket and don't carry it for long stretches, and it'll work just fine.

cute bag. a little uncomfy on the shoulders, but has a nice lining in a coffee brown color. i like the canvas material, feels super sturdy. overall it was solid for the 26$ i spent. it’s a little small but it fits my 15 in laptop fine. really excited to use it for college.
