We have two dyson V11 and we got the soft roller cleaner head from Dyson for one of them and we tried this product for our second dyson V11. I had little expectation on this but I am more than happy to have this product with very good quality. I don't see what's less about this compared to the dyson brand soft roller cleaner head. Different design than Dyson's bare floor tools with wheels in the back-center. Works okay but doesn't roll as smoothly across the floor as a Dyson. The Dyson floor tool has been out of stock for months so I purchased this. Sometimes it seems the soft roller doesn't make good contact with the floor.

Lasted 6 weeks from daily use and then the motor stopped working. Really disappointed since it did a good job cleaning until the motor stopped working. Should have bought the Dyson one.

    • it does OK for floors but horrible on carpet
when I bought this product, I was looking for one and done type of tool but this too is very bad on carpet. It seems it doesn’t do a very good job in my experience, so that’s why I’m rating it the way it’s rated other than that it’s OK would not recommend this product?

works better than how I expected. can't make comparison to genuine dyson soft roller part as I don't have it, but it picks up debris on hw floor better than brush roller attachment does.

    • Having lights is amazing!
I have hardwood floors and sweep daily. However, I had no clue how much cat hair was being missed until I used this. I apologize to anyone who came to my house prior to owning this. You couldn’t see it, but it was there. Now it is not. Great buy!
