I was expecting rubbery fingers, which work the best for dog hair, but this attachent has soft plastic fingers instead. Even so, it works well. The main problem is that the head swivels too easily, so it is a real hassle when moving it around on a rough surface. I applied epoxy around the head joint, as well as the valve on top since I can't imagine a situation where I would need to open it to provide less suction, and now it works great. It fits on a 1 1/4" vacuum hose I have on a Ryobi 1 gallon shop vac that I use to vacuum dog hair off furniture, clothes, car seats, carpets, as well as the dogs themselves. I have two short hair white jack russell terriers which are shedding machines year round, and with the modification this attachment is up to the task. ... show more

Does fit my Shark vacuum. Rubber bristles and doesn’t remove cat hair. Very poor quality.

They are not standard size hose adaptive, was a very tight fit with little overlap on the hose end. Dissatisfied with them and basically I just use them like a brush by hand.

I have 2 Australian shepherds and this does wonders for them and the carpet. The soft tips are able to dig into rugs and loosen hair and dirt. I ended up getting this because I wasn’t please with my Henry Hoover Pet vacuum attachments and it works much better than theirs.

So this part did not connect with my vacuum, wouldn't stay in /hold in any position for the hose area, I have to hold the device in place while operating which is only reason it is not getting a Good rating for everything. if a piece was added for different hose attachments it would definitely make an amazing device. my dogs were skeptical at first for it but then loved the brush on them and the feel of the loose hair being removed.
