Decided to try this out for cleaning old church pews with a wet vacuum, and I was so impressed by how much dirt it pulled it out! I recommend that for any fabric type cleaning, you damp very well the fabric first, so the wet vac will be more effective in pulling the dirt out!

Works WAY better than the portable cleaners. Scrubbed car floor and seats with detergent and a brush and this got it 90% dry. Regular old shop vac. Way cheaper than buying a portable unit.

1st, I had to drill 2 small holes into the head because without any air to vent this thing picks up absolutely nothing. Once I gave it the much needed ventilation it still sucks [in a bad way] because without any sprayed water like an extractor sprays it leaves little to no moisture to have to pick up from the carpet. It’s a good thing I didn’t waste more money buying the black foam wet filter for my Ridgid vac because there’s absolutely no need for it using this as an “extractor”. The whole process feels Dry and useless and the results are terrible as this doesn’t get anything clean at all. There’s no way on earth using this is better than using the Bissell SpotPro and those people who claim it is must be smoking the same stuff as Hunter Biden! Lol. The Bissell SpotPro works 10x better than trying to use this worthless method. The only positive thing I have for this kit is that the 3 adapters included do in fact fit the Ridgid hoses. 2.5”, 1 3/8, 1 1/4 all properly fit the hoses for a snug fit. But you could just skip buying this and just use the claw adapter you already have if you want to do a terrible job of trying to clean carpet & upholstery because as a detailer this method of “dry extraction” is an absolute joke. ... show more
