I love my Dyson, but I have a pretty large house and buying this larger head has made the WORLD of a difference! I get the rooms done in almost half the time. It’s wonderful! Totally worth it!

I bought this as a replacement part for my Dyson Outsize cordless vacuum after my original head stopped working. Dyson’s website was sold out, so I was a little hesitant to order here since it wasn’t Prime and didn’t have many reviews. Visually, it looks identical to the Dyson version — if you lined them up side by side, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. It attaches easily and the roller spins smoothly, making it simple to maneuver under furniture and along trim edges. That said, I don’t feel like it performs quite as well as my original. On hard surfaces, especially in the kitchen (where we have plenty of crumbs with three kids under 4), I notice that about 25% of the debris tends to get pushed back out. I often have to go over the same area 2–3 times, whereas my original Dyson head picked everything up in one pass. I’ve tried adjusting the roller height, but the issue still happens. It also makes a bit more of a rattling sound on hard floors, though nothing overly loud — the vacuum itself is louder. Overall, it does the job and works well enough, but it’s not quite the same performance as the original Dyson head. Still, given the difficulty of finding genuine replacements in stock, I’m glad to have this as an option.

Full size vacuum head. Asked Dyson by email if this would work for other v11 vacuums with the click-in battery, such as the torque drive. They said yes and it has been working great. Really cuts down on vacuuming times.

Our chief complaint with our v10 is the small size of the cleaner head. It’s an otherwise fantastic vacuum. I can confirm that this CK cleaner head works like a charm with the v10!

I tried it and it works with both the V8 and V10. I use it with V8 since it’s lighter though.
