These hoses work exactly as described. They stretch out massively, and then shrink up and are light as a feather when empty of water. The metal fittings are a huge bonus, I am in my third year and so far no leaks, no issues. The sprayer head as a bonus is short lived, it will leak after the first year but since the hose comes with an on/off valve at the drip end the sprayer is not even really necessary. I love them them, I have 3 now and they are a bit expensive but worth it, if you use your hose ALOT, this is the hose for you.

My wife got tired of lugging bulky hoses around. These are very light weight and don't take up a lot of space or kink. My only concern is will they hold up in the long run. Time will tell. Update: Year 2. Had to throw away the sprayers that came with the hoses and buy new ones (better than originals) because they were leaking badly. We stored the hoses (with nozzles attached) in our shed during the off season. Thinks the freezing winter temps caused the residual water in the sprayers to freeze and crack the sprayer housing (made of plastic). Suggestion: if you live in an area where you get freezing winter temps, take the nozzles off and make make sure they are completely drained and/or stored in a warm area. As for the the hoses, still working very well. No issues. Spoke to soon. Issue: After I posted the update, the hose sprang a leak. I did email the company about their life time guarantee and was pleasantly surprised that there was no hassle or run around to get the product replaced. I just sent them the Amazon order number and a picture of the leaking hose in action. (Posted Above). In a few days I had a new hose and they even paid the shipping. An awesome product and awesome customer service, a rare combination these days. I recommend you give the product a try if you want a no hassle hose. Additional observation: My leak and others (that had pictures posted) all seemed to leak just below the hose connection. My guess is that the hose was pulled a little to hard to "stretch" it a bit more. So don't pull it to stretch it out. Just buy a longer hose. After all it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I've had this hose in my front yard for a year and a half. From day 1 it has been great. It's so much easier to use than the regular hose I had before. It bends a lot easier than a regular hose. And it's so easy to throw back into the hose basket when you are done... no more getting all wet and dirty trying to roll up the stiff plasticy hose. This hose shrinks down and has lots of extra room in the basket. The spray nozzle did start leaking after maybe a year of use, but it still worked good enough. I bought a brass nozzle to replace it, but it didn't work with with the pressure of the hose. Just the other day, the interior part of the house burst...nothing dramatic...just must have gotten some holes and started leaking. It deteriorated in the area closest to the spigot, probably because that area gets the most sun exposure. After reading about their warranty, I wrote to the company and the next day they sent me out a new hose. What?!!! What companies do that?!!! Well, if this one give me another year and a half of hose life, I'd be happy to purchase a new one. I'm going to look into a new hose storage that keeps the entire hose covered.

I HAD PURCHASED THIS HOSE IN THE PAST AND IT PERFORMED VERY WELL FOR ME FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I PURCHASED THIS HOSE IN MAY AND IT DIDN'T GET USED AS MUCH AS IN THE PAST AS WE WERE AWAY FROM HOME. HOWEVER, IT IS LEAKING TERRIBLY AND I STOPPED USING IT BACK IN JULY. I FEEL SO TAKEN TO HAVE SPENT $50 ON THIS HOSE. I DIDN'T GET THE PROTECTION PACKAGE AS I NEVER NEEDED TO IN THE PAST. SO IF YOU INVEST IN THIS HOSE, BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED.

I wanted a more compact hose for watering my pots and plants. This seemed to fit the goal for a while. I purchased the hose almost 3 years ago. It’s used about ever other day due to our climate. I’ve had traditional rubber hoses last a decade or more provided I would take them in when freezing temps are there as I’ve done with this hose. It rarely gets below 30 in Galveston County Texas. 2 main issues: 1. Durability - hose did well but developed a leak 4” from the end that connects with nozzle. Not a failure of coupling but rather in the body of the hose. 2. Sprayer - the ability to smoothly last more than 4-6 months is an issue. Follow up. I went on the company’s website where they claim lifetime warranty. I emailed my issue. Within 4 hrs had a response to provide Amazon Order number name and address and 3 hrs later a replacement was in the way. Hopefully it lasts longer than the first one. I love the compactness and ease of use. The new hose arrived within 2 days and both my garden and I were happy.

I have serious back problems that make it difficult for me to use a traditional water hose. I bought this hose and started using it right away. Mine came with a free spray head. The hose has a water on/off switch at the end. The spray head/nozzle has different settings that are perfect for different jobs. The water through the nozzle/spray head only comes out when you want it to. This was exactly what I needed for the back yard and also hot tub maintenance. An update to my review: I bought a couple of these in different lengths. The hoses are so lightweight that I can drag them around to do whatever I need. So can my 4 and 2 year old grandchildren. They love helping me and the adjustable spray head means they don't kill my plants. I did manage to puncture one, but I was dragging it through the cactus garden, which will also puncture a heavy truck tire I still recommend this and am going to but more. The punctured one still works great for the hot tub.
