My wife got tired of lugging bulky hoses around. These are very light weight and don't take up a lot of space or kink. My only concern is will they hold up in the long run. Time will tell. Update: Year 2. Had to throw away the sprayers that came with the hoses and buy new ones (better than originals) because they were leaking badly. We stored the hoses (with nozzles attached) in our shed during the off season. Thinks the freezing winter temps caused the residual water in the sprayers to freeze and crack the sprayer housing (made of plastic). Suggestion: if you live in an area where you get freezing winter temps, take the nozzles off and make make sure they are completely drained and/or stored in a warm area. As for the the hoses, still working very well. No issues. Spoke to soon. Issue: After I posted the update, the hose sprang a leak. I did email the company about their life time guarantee and was pleasantly surprised that there was no hassle or run around to get the product replaced. I just sent them the Amazon order number and a picture of the leaking hose in action. (Posted Above). In a few days I had a new hose and they even paid the shipping. An awesome product and awesome customer service, a rare combination these days. I recommend you give the product a try if you want a no hassle hose. Additional observation: My leak and others (that had pictures posted) all seemed to leak just below the hose connection. My guess is that the hose was pulled a little to hard to "stretch" it a bit more. So don't pull it to stretch it out. Just buy a longer hose. After all it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I've had this hose in my front yard for a year and a half. From day 1 it has been great. It's so much easier to use than the regular hose I had before. It bends a lot easier than a regular hose. And it's so easy to throw back into the hose basket when you are done... no more getting all wet and dirty trying to roll up the stiff plasticy hose. This hose shrinks down and has lots of extra room in the basket. The spray nozzle did start leaking after maybe a year of use, but it still worked good enough. I bought a brass nozzle to replace it, but it didn't work with with the pressure of the hose. Just the other day, the interior part of the house burst...nothing dramatic...just must have gotten some holes and started leaking. It deteriorated in the area closest to the spigot, probably because that area gets the most sun exposure. After reading about their warranty, I wrote to the company and the next day they sent me out a new hose. What?!!! What companies do that?!!! Well, if this one give me another year and a half of hose life, I'd be happy to purchase a new one. I'm going to look into a new hose storage that keeps the entire hose covered.

Within the first couple of months since I purchased this hose I started seeing spraying holes and last week (less than 6 months since purchase) the inner layer of the hose completely bursted and now is not even usable. Very poor quality!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It blew up tonight but that is after 27 months of use. And that is pretty good for these shrinky garden hoses. I’m going to buy another.

I loved the length of this hose — it’s very lightweight and never tangles, which made it easy to use. Unfortunately, it split after us and started leaking, so the durability was disappointing.
