I was hoping that this solar panel be fix my outdoor DIY project power supply issues. I have a 6600mhA battery running a weather station transmitter and was expecting the panel to charge the battery but it didn't. I tried using it to charge a cell phone and it didn't. The only way this panel worked was when the device it was connected to was turned off on a sunny day. The size was right and is well constructed and sturdy. It comes with a USB-A connector. This is a cool little solar pad that I really got for my bird bath fountain and it works great. I recently packed it for a three day camp out and it didn't allow my iPhone to charge. At first it did then the phone went into Apple's "device may not be suited" BS. All in all it's a good item.

For some reason it doesn't it will say it's charging you think it's charging 5 volts but it's draining it has no way to if you're not getting enough sunlight to it to stop it from draining your battery instead of charging it your batteries you know how to certain point Keep that in mind if you decide to order this ... show more

Still going strong my second year using this at Oshkosh. I charge my iPhone on a battery at night and leave the battery plugged into the panel during the day. For just my 1 phone, it’s easily charged by noon. No issues yet and I’m not fighting for a plug at a charging station. Would definitely recommend. Keep the box it comes in for storage.
