I love it I installed it waiting to throw the go pro on there. Make sure you use the alcohol wipe and let the surface dry so that way the adhesive can do it thing.the plastic material is good it fits well and it's stable. The stability is nice too a phone mount should be fine unless is heavy like a brick but it should still work.

I have bought this relatively inexpensive item multiple times and boy did I love it. I used it on my Shoei RF-SR and RF-1400 and I've had absolutely no issues. The sleek black rubber and the sticky adhesive work perfectly especially when matched with the adhesive promoter. The quality of the plastic that held my camera in even in one of my crashes did not falter once. I did have to adjust its angle to find a decent amount to find the perfect camera angle but it was all worth it once I git to watch it on a larger screen. Now the reason why I gave 4 stars isn’t because of an issue that I personally had but I was the one who purchased and installed this on a Sedici Strada 2 and unfortunately it was not able to hold up. This was my father’s helmet and I had purchased him a full camera setup for his helmet too. Unfortunately since the strada 2 has a relatively sharp point it was not able to mold properly to the helmet and ended up falling off mid ride. Due to that we are down a camera and mount. Overall I think this is a great product for its price in comparison to other competitors and would recommend it to others.

I bought this mount for an Arai Corsair-x helmet with a matte paint scheme and found to fit fairly well. I didn’t use the adhesive primer as I feared it would damage the paint job since it smelled like some kind of thinner so I used 70% alcohol instead. After allowing the alcohol to dry I removed the peel from the adhesive on the mount and placed it where I wanted. I had woodworking clamps ready to apply pressure on mount. I didn’t tighten the clamp all that much but enough to firmly mold the mount to the curvature of the helmet. I then let it sit for 24 hours before removing the clamps. I have since mounted a dji osmo 5 pro without issue and have ridden on highways with minimal wind protection and haven’t noticed the mount loosening or otherwise becoming unstable. I haven’t ridden in rain but from my experience with VHB and similar adhesives, as long as you thoroughly clean your surface and allow enough curing time then it should stay put. As far as aesthetics go, it definitely detracts from my helmet design but the build quality is sturdier than the chin mounts one. I would also appreciate if the prongs that screw onto the camera mounts or go pro extensions were matte black like the dji and insta360 ones instead of the outdated glossy ones from yesterday’s go pros. It also uses the old shiny dome nut that go pro mounts use that make it look really outdated and flimsy. It’s not mind you but a change to dji’s or insta 360’s flush brushed metal nut would make the product look truly premium. I will update this review if I notice anything else in the future but if I don’t you can assume it’s been an excellent product.

Best mount I’ve used so far, adhesive is strong and beyond typical products. Works for most helmets and is sturdy at high speeds. Easy to use and install and provides good value for the money.

This is an excellent mount. I ride a GSXR 1000 and a GSXR 600 and ride pretty hard and have never had an issue with this Mount. However, because I installed it a little messed up the first time I removed the first one I bought and got a second one but that was all on me. It had nothing to do with the mount. It was the way I installed it and how I installed it on the helmet, lol. Literally when I removed the mount I wanted to replace it. Peeled up a small piece of my helmet shell the adhesive did 😂 Just a tiny piece which is also on me. But trust me that is what you want from a helmet mount that's holding your four to $600 camera in my case I use a DJI 5 pro. This is a great mouth and an American company and even if I ever found a Chinese alternative that worked, I would still spend the money here because this is a quality product and a small business that is worth supporting.

Adhesive was good, ease of use was good, mounting position was good. About 2 weeks in the plastic broke. Luckily the camera did not experience an unscheduled rapid disconnection from the helmet. However it was no longer usable at that point. I did not have any crashes nor did the helmet experience any impact from a fall. So not really sure why the plastic piece would have broken. It was attached to the chin portion of a Shoei Neotech 2 modular helmet. So the chin bar, camera mount and camera were opened and closed several times. YMMV
