Super light, durable, and adjustable to any helmet. After having it in mud and water it’s still holding strong and none of the adhesive has come off. Water better than having it it in a strap than blocks air flow.

    • Not for Fox V1 Motocross helmets with large chin airflow openings!

Seems like a really solid(good) mount if you want a permanent solution. I took a star off because it wasn’t a good option for my Fox V1 helmet. As this helmet has a large opening for airflow on the chin. I thought I’d be able to mount it right below on the very bottom, but it wouldn’t have worked out due to not enough real estate. So I mounted it right in the middle of that opening. It formed perfectly around the edges and the 3M adhesive seemed sturdy. But having the mount not sticking to anything in the middle of the air vent, where the GoPro is..on top of the weight of the GoPro with the media mod case, it was causing the GoPro to bounce when walking and tap against the helmet. Aka, I’m sure over time it would become annoying. I took a star off for that because it truly isn’t “universal” in that sense, unless I mounted it on the cheek and bought another mount to turn the GoPro sideways so it faced the action and not a helmet. Blah blah. Installation was easy and quick. Probably 2min tops including the prep cleaning the area, pre bending the sticky arms and installing it. And removal left no damage even though it was on for 3hrs and my helmet is a gloss finish. Some Qtips and alcohol got it off within 1minute. I’d imagine leaving one on for months or years will be a task. As 3M tends to rip bits of the foam backing before full removal lol. With that said, if you’ve made it this far, I’d suggest this product only for glossy helmets. Matte helmets may be a nightmare to remove after some good use! ... show more

The MotoRadds chin mount is a quality product so far after about two weeks of use. The adhesive foam/tape appears to work just fine despite reviews. Make sure you clean mounting surface extremely well and give product time to bond before use. The construction seems to have no issues mounting to my specific helmet which is a Scorpion exo ST1400 EVO carbon, although I think it would fit/mount on many different helmet applications. Product is flexible but rigid in all the right ways and seems to be a solid and durable chin mount . I am currently using mine with a go pro 8 Black. ... show more

I have this installed on my Arai XD-4 and has never failed. I purchased a new XD-5 and went with a different mounting system (Chin Mounts). After one ride, the camera was sagging as there is not enough support due to the small footprint of the other brand. Tore that one off and went back to the MotoRadds flex slim. The designer(s) had a message with this mount. And it was to use and bend it to whatever your needs are. I understood the mission. Before removing the backing, shape and mold it to the item you are mounting it to. Ensure it will have a flat surface even while bending. Thats what the rubber is for. Mold it. Take your time. Then after using the cleaning wipes, install with the tape removed. Ensure all angles are accounted for and flat. Then, hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer, carefully. Enough to heat up the glue and adhere to the surface. Then, let it air cool for 20 to 30 minutes before mounting anything. This is perfection. Fits PERFECTLY on the brim of the visor of my V1 Fox Helmet. I'll be buying this for my other helmets too. I just feel like the price is a bit high for the materials. But seems solid. Time will till. Other than that, highly recommend!!! ... show more
