I have bought two of these. And unlike another certain Chinmount company, I bought this one a second time because it was so good. I wanted to put it on my new helmet. The other company I had to buy a second one because not only did my action camera, but the chin mount itself end up on the highway. The MotoRadds Mount sticks so well and will fit any helmet. Plus you get two day shipping here. Every time I buy a new helmet it will have a MotoRadd mount on there. The amount was extremely durable and held up on my AGV for over a year with no problem. If you value the safety of your action camera, want your footage and don’t want to spend the arm in a leg for a chin mount. This is the mount for you.

I’ve been using the Flex Slim Chin Mount Kit on my helmet for almost a year now, and it’s been absolutely solid. The adhesive is strong and reliable, even through heat, rain, and high-speed rides—it hasn’t budged once. The flexible silicone design makes it super easy to adjust and get the right angle, whether you’re using an Insta360 X5 or a GoPro Hero 13 (I use both, and it handles them with no problem). If you’re into motovlogging, or just want to capture your rides from the best POV, this mount is a must-have. Highly recommend for the quality, versatility, and long-term durability.

I bought this mount for an Arai Corsair-x helmet with a matte paint scheme and found to fit fairly well. I didn’t use the adhesive primer as I feared it would damage the paint job since it smelled like some kind of thinner so I used 70% alcohol instead. After allowing the alcohol to dry I removed the peel from the adhesive on the mount and placed it where I wanted. I had woodworking clamps ready to apply pressure on mount. I didn’t tighten the clamp all that much but enough to firmly mold the mount to the curvature of the helmet. I then let it sit for 24 hours before removing the clamps. I have since mounted a dji osmo 5 pro without issue and have ridden on highways with minimal wind protection and haven’t noticed the mount loosening or otherwise becoming unstable. I haven’t ridden in rain but from my experience with VHB and similar adhesives, as long as you thoroughly clean your surface and allow enough curing time then it should stay put. As far as aesthetics go, it definitely detracts from my helmet design but the build quality is sturdier than the chin mounts one. I would also appreciate if the prongs that screw onto the camera mounts or go pro extensions were matte black like the dji and insta360 ones instead of the outdated glossy ones from yesterday’s go pros. It also uses the old shiny dome nut that go pro mounts use that make it look really outdated and flimsy. It’s not mind you but a change to dji’s or insta 360’s flush brushed metal nut would make the product look truly premium. I will update this review if I notice anything else in the future but if I don’t you can assume it’s been an excellent product.

when I applied it onto my helmet it’s kind of half lifted, but it works good it holds my DGI action for camera perfectly fine hasn’t fell off once and if it’s perfectly on my helmet, mine is still lifting, but it’s OK as long as my camera stays on my helmet I’ve only used it for one season so far if anything happens, I’ll update this. I definitely recommend getting just make sure you apply it correctly.

Watching the guide made by MotoRadds made the install super quick and easy. I’ve been using this with my Insta360 Ace Pro and have had no issues, looks clean and lowkey on my helmet. Was significantly cheaper than competing chin mounts. It’s also more stable than the alternative strap mounts.

I’ve been using the MotoRadds Flex Slim mount for a little under a year with my KYT helmet and DJI Action 5 camera. There is a noticeable drop in aerodynamics, but that’s expected when you’re putting a small camera on the front of your helmet. Make sure you clean the surface really well before sticking it on so it can stick properly. On mine, there are a couple small spots that look like they might lift someday, but so far, after almost a year, it hasn’t come off. I would much rather use this than a ChinMount because this one has more surface area to stick to the helmet. Overall, it’s worked well for me.
