Bought as Christmas present for my nine-year-old grandson. At first the motors wouldn't spin up more than a second, so was ready to send it back. As a last resort I installed new batteries in the remote. Voilà! In what I thought was a big front yard, I did the first test flight, and it flew around a giant tree, over the road and crashed in a field across the street lol Facts be known, it was TOTALLY out of control! I guess I missed that crucial flight training! So, looking for a bigger space, we drove about 10 miles away and found a grassy field between a school and a church. In 20° weather we froze, but had a grand time taking turns flying that little plane around, almost crash landing it on the church, crashing it into multiple trees. Surprisingly the tree crashes, and 20 or 30 rough landings in the field, and a couple in the parking lot, there was absolutely no damage. What a blast! I sent a couple videos to my friends, who vowed to get one for themselves :-) It made me wish I had one when I was a kid. My advice is to find a very big open space...even bigger than the field in my video. Enjoy!

Was worried about purchasing this for my 8 1/2 year old grandson the first time but he learned how to fly it quickly and had a blast with it. His dad did too! I was impressed with how high and fast it flew and unfortunately the first one did get away from him and we lost it so I ordered him another one and he has learned how to kill the power and turn it around and bring it back if he feels like it’s going too far again. He’s getting better at landing it now too without crashing it. It holds up really well to crash landings though. It’s nice that it has two batteries and extra parts included.

This was quick to ship and arrived in a colorful box that is perfect to give as a gift. The RC plane is made of a lightweight durable foam. It comes with two batteries, so you get decent run time when using it as well as spares in case you incurred damage. The remote is on the small side and very basic. The most useful part of this RC plane is it’s Gyro stabilizer which helps even out your flying enabling you to get use to it and improve your skills. When we used this RC plane, the kids enjoyed it immensely and even though there were quite a few crashes, this plane as light it is, was durable enough to continue without issue. We also noted that this RC plane performs better in no wind or very light wind conditions to be able to fly it effectively. This is a great RC plane for a beginner at a very reasonable price.

I always wanted one of these when I was a kid. Now, since I'm in my second childhood, I got this for me. It came yesterday and I got it ready to play with. Once everything was charged, I took it outside. There was minimal wind, but with occasional gusts. I did fairly well flying it until one of the wind gusts hit. I pretty much lost control of the jet at that point. The body and wings of this are made with some type of heavy duty foam. It makes the plane lighter so it flies better. However, since it is so lightweight, I do not advise flying it when it's windy. Even though I crashed it in the wind gust, it wasn't damaged at all. I went out for a little while this morning and had no issues flying it. Thank goodness it's made for beginners! Overall, this is a pretty neat toy that doesn't break the bank. Flying it is a lot of fun. Even young children could do it - with the help and supervision of an adult. I'm happy with my new jet and recommend.

Durable and super easy to fly. Takes off with no real problem just needs space to build up speed. Once you take off it's easy and fun. It may take a try two for you to get comfortable with the controller but that's true of any RC. Foam is durable and can handle a crash or tumble when landing. Remote has good signal range. The plane is easy to slow down and land on the wheels but flips once it slows down enough. I find it is better to just land it on grass or catch it. I flew it with no problem as did my son and father we all got it going & down on the first try. To say it's fun would be an understatement. This would be a great plane for staring kids on flying RC planes. You get about 25+ minutes of flight time per battery and included USB can charge both at the same time so an hour or so to charge and your set for a good time. I find if you pack a crumbled up piece of paper or tiny rectangular piece of foam in the rubber tip it helps dissipate the force on crashes/impacts and protects you plane better. I've done it to almost all the planes i have and the ones I didn't break the front tip end where nose attaches.

I ordered this remote control airplane for my husband and children. We've had various brands, makes, and models over the years and every one of them has been different from the other. This plane is made of foam and takes some experience, practice, and finesse to fly - it's definitely not designed for a beginner. The outside conditions have to be perfect in order for it to fly - i.e., little to no wind - which may be difficult in some areas. Response time is slow and changing directions requires the flyer to drastically increase the power in order for the plane to turn - this, in effect, burns through the battery life much more quickly. Overall, this isn't one of our favorite remote control planes and could definitely use some design and quality improvements.
