choose broad light pattern, more traditional flashlight, or both at once... Puts out more light than you'd expect and doesn't get too hot. Stands nicely, easy to use for working in dimply lit areas. Even comes with a usb charger built in.

This not a Dewalt but much better lights than Dewalt. People are just plain dumb if buy this because they think they are buying a Dewalt. Peeps should learn how to read the label!

Update to the following as I didn't realize it wasn't a DeWalt tool. It's a look alike. Other than that, all comments are the same: The 9 inch light is good and as bright as you would expect, but it has the same flaw as all DeWalt lights I own; they will not point down much at all. It also goes through batteries pretty fast so I use a big one with it. I use these lights all the time for miscellaneous work, but they don't point down! I often want to set it on the ground or on a table and have it point down. To do this, I took it apart and cut the plastic so it could point down. See picture. Some of the screws are different sizes so be aware of that and there is a spring in there that would be difficult to put back which makes the click positioning work but leaving it out also much improved the light. The friction of the movement easily holds it in place and now it is adjustable by any degree which I like much better. Be sure to cut the area which restricts the wire length because of the extra distance they will have to stretch for this modification. For sure this will void any warrantee but I can't imagine a scenario where this thing breaks unless I drop it from hella height. If DeWalt changes the design based on this feedback I expect free upgrades for the great ideas. (not holding my breath, because I just realized it's not an actual DeWalt tool. I don't really care about that though) ... show more
