First time using a 3d printer. Had it printing out a block in about 25 minutes from opening the box with the included filament. The block turned out perfect. Works amazing. Lots of fun. The QR code stuff confused me so I skipped it and it went on with the setup. You'll need your wifi password. Then I went to the Flashforge and went with the orca forge program. Watched a tutorial on Youtube how to use it and was printing R2-D2 in no time! Lol.

This printer is AMAZING. I had an Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo and this thing puts the Kobra 2 Neo to shame. My only gripe is the process for loading in new filament. It could have been so much easier. Not sure why others are saying it doesn't work properly, most likely user error.

The media could not be loaded. We have never used a 3D printer before, so my evaluation is from a newcomer's point of view. Set up was very straight forward with the provided directions (which are quite good). We ran through the leveling and vibration tests, then tried to print a small boat with the sampling of filament which is included with the printer. We're still not sure what happened with the boat, but it seemed to get stuck after 1 minute, so we changed to a key fob project. That printed up beautifully! Since we only had the one minor difficulty before successfully printing an object, we found this 3D printer to be a great place to start for newbies like us! Our goal is to create make some souvenir-type items to sell at my flea market booth and some of the small parts we use in wood working and other crafting that we would otherwise have to buy in bulk. The printer came with all the tools needed to set it up, use it, and maintain it. It's sturdy and works very well. We're both really happy with this 3D printer!

I had a bone to pick with flashforge for along time and still kinda do. But I got this printer for free and here's my review Pros: Setup was super simple compared to other printers ive had besides the p1s. Print quailty is great alot better than I expected. I got an enclosure for it and even though it was complicated it wasn't that bad Speed is great its pretty quick compared to bed slingers in this price range Cons: Horrible sounding it sounds like its being ripped apart while printing Motors are loud. High pitch sound from hotend fan. Firmware isn't great. Plan to install klipper Nozzles are 35 dollars Over all its a great first printer its easy to use. Print quality is on par with my bambulabs and with an enclosure it can print most filaments abs asa nylon
