I love these stools. I have been using these stools in a veterinary hospital for about 4-5 years and they have held up very well. The rollers occasionally need to be cleaned of pet hair and lubricated but have yet to fail despite rough and constant use. They are lightweight and eaisy to move from room to room by rolling or carrying. One of them started sticking with the lift and lower feature but a spray of WD 40 fixed the issue. Kids love them and are drawn to them immediately. I ordered this one to use at home in my kids room for a desk stool. The seat design is comfortable and encourages you to sit upright with good posture. In all I have purchased 6 of these chairs. Highly recommend purchasing you will be pleased. SAFETY AND LEGAL WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY!!! These chairs are absolutely TRASH AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS! We ordered 6, and every single one broke within DAYS to a couple weeks. I sought repair at first, but after the remaining ones broke, I wanted to return all of them. The customer service lacked any assistance, stating they were not to be used at a work place DESPITE listing them as a good use in a work place!!! They also sent me information stating they would not honor their warranty, contradictory to what is actually advertised. SUB PAR ENGINEERING BACKED BY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. We/they are lucky no one was injured when the backs broke off and the seats cracked and pinched our legs. (being used by ~150 pound females, by the way), otherwise additional lawsuits would be eminent. BE ADVISED!

Listen folks, it's a VERY cheap shop chair. This isn't going to be super sturdy, rugged or heavy duty. It's meant for a very casual use chair. Understanding that, and reviewing it for what it is, it's exactly what it claims to be. I can't knock it. I didn't pay $100 for this, so I shouldn't be expecting a $100 chair. I wish people would review this as the cheapest possible way to get a shop chair in their garage. PROS: Extremely inexpensive. Shock works well, it cushions when you sit on it Nice travel and seat height options. Pretty comfortable and contoured about right. CONS: I wish the back bars were stronger but again. you get what you pay for. I wish they'd threaded some lock-tite but again, price? throw a bit on and keep the bolts tight. Don't over tighten them.

Reviewed Item: Flash Furniture Vibrant Black and Chrome Drafting Stool with Tractor Seat I'm using this chair for a 41" high, stand or sit, computer work station and, fully extended, this chair is a perfect height. It's very comfortable for my tall, runner body, was easy to put together, foot rest is at a perfect location, looks nice and is sturdy. I tend to sit in it about 8 hours a day, monday - friday, and it's comfortable. A bit personal but important note: I've been sitting in a standard padded office chair for years and have had a constant battle with hemorrhoids. Within a short time of using this chair, they've gone away completely and have not returned. Follow up: A little more than a year later and still true.

This stool is just what I wanted. I have been working from home for over a year now. About 9 months ago, I upgraded to a motorized sit/stand desk with the intention spending more time on my feet. I found myself still sitting too much because moving the desk up and down constantly was distracting. I ditched my leather office chair and ordered this stool to serve as a way to get off my feet when I need to but tall enough to leave the desk in its standing position. I couldn't be happier, especially for the price. Assembly was simple and straight forward, the height when fully extended is great (I'm 5'10" so my standing height needs a tall stool and this one fits!) I like the contours of the chair and the fact that it isn't a comfy lounger....forces my posture to improve. I have spent many a late night sitting in this chair for hours when work runs long and I'm still very happy with it. Mine is the green one and I absolutely love the color. It is a fun accent in my otherwise neutral-themed office space. Again, I use this with a standing desk so I am constantly pushing the stool away to stand then dragging it back for a break. I'm not always nice about it either. It has held up to the abuse without any issues to date. I love the swivel, the foot bar, the sturdy feet. I personally like that it is not on wheels since I have it on top of one of those foam standing mats. The back support provides just enough resistance while keeping my muscles engaged as to not slouch. I had my doubts when I ordered because I thought I was taking the cheap way out compared to other drafting stools out there. But much to my surprise, it has exceeded my every expectation. I may consider another commenter's suggestion about adding the Ford Tractor Seat Cushion, if for no other reason than to maybe add another inch or two of seat height and to make those long nights a little softer but even without it, this stool was worth every penny spent!

I bought this stool to use in my sewing room. I needed to sit higher to reduce neck strain while using my sewing machines. I put it at its highest level. When I sit on it, it naturally goes down a touch. But, I am measuring the height to be 25 inches. That is exactly what I was needing. My machines sit on a counter that is 30 inches high. I feel so much more comfortable and do not think I will raise my shoulders unintentionally and cause neck pain The only negative I have about this stool is that the casters do not move really smoothly on my vinyl flooring. That is OK. For the price, I can get up and move it if I need to. The seat is a touch uncomfortable because the sides come up too far. I find that I am perching on the edge of the stool in order to get my back straight. That is how I tend to sit anyway. NOTE: When I received the stool, it did not come with the hardware. I got the number on Amazon to call the company. They were outstanding to work with. They answered all the questions I had about putting the stool together. I received the hardware in the mail in 4 days.
