Bought 8 of these chairs at the end of July for our nail techs. It's now December and 2 of them have bent on the edge (so the chair is actually diagonal) making it impossible to sit unless you want pretty crappy back problems. Not sure what to do with these chairs now. Really don't think these were worth the money. Update, the seat part of the chair bent at the metal part at the bottom so it was just hanging. Even though I am well below the weight limit for this chair and put it through no unusual stress, this chair broke while I was sitting on it. I was not surprised that the upholstery started wearing out after 17 months–it is a cheap chair, after all–but the welds of the steel base plate? That's very odd. Either the welding is very shoddy, or the design puts an unbelievable amount of strain on the welds. If you sort the Amazon reviews by 1 and 2 stars, you'll see that this is apparently a very common issue with this chair. As such, it is not surprising that after submitting my warranty claim two weeks ago the only response I have received is an automated message, "Due to higher than normal case volume, you may experience a delay in response time." Zero stars as it is not a functional chair. One star for giving me the new life experience of having a chair break underneath me. Thanks for the adrenaline rush, Flash Furniture! ... show more

The chair looked and felt pretty nice at first, especially for the price. About two days after my return window closed, the chair started tilting forward at a very uncomfortable angle, to the point where I would slide off it without bracing myself. I switched the base plate around thinking it would at least be leaning back instead of forward, but it tilted all the way back forward again. This chair is shoddy and can't even stand up to a month of two people weighing 160 lbs or less sitting on it. Would definitely not recommend and would return if possible. Just wanted to write this review so you know what you're getting into. This chair is a great price, looks great and is lightweight yet stable. The one thing we wish we would've known is the vinyl material "squeaks" when you move while sitting and "squeaks" is a nice-sounding term for it. It could be mistaken for passing gas which is something that can be very embarrassing during a formal meeting or interview. We are going to keep these chairs for our office, but wouldn't repurchase. ... show more

Cons: Used once or twice a week for extra kitchen seating. After about 5 weeks, began bending forward slightly. Each time someone sat on it for a short time, the chair became more difficult to sit in. Nothing is broken but the seat incline is such that one cannot sit in the chair without slipping off. The seat was cute to look at, but the cushioning is under an inch thick, so it is uncomfortable to sit in for longer than say half an hour --- and this is coming from someone with a well-padded rear. I've had it for about 3 years now, and I'd say in the last year the seat has been deformed so that it slopes forward (at least, that's when I *noticed* it). I'm right around the recommended weight limit of the chair (250lbs). Recently I've noticed my coccyx hurts A LOT when I get up from this chair, presumably because the slant in it causes pressure to come to bear on that part of my spine, so I'm now looking for a replacement. I'd say don't get this if you plan to use it as an office chair, maybe as something you sit in for brief periods and you want to look cute and inobtrusive when not in use. Also, it's worth noting that a LOT of people have been reviewing saying that they've had the same issue with the seat slanting, sometimes very quickly. ... show more

Very upset that all of the chairs are basically broken. They all tilt forward and when you push theme back down, the do it right away when you sit back down! I bought 6 white and 4 black chairs.
