I'm currently in grad school (entirely online) and my career is in IT, so I do a fair amount of sitting. I bought this chair, put it together, and have been using it a few weeks now. Comfort-wise, I'm pretty happy. I can sit for long periods of time without any problems and the chair seems to provide pretty good support for my back. For reference, I'm 6 ft. tall and about 175 lbs. Other features/pros of this chair: - competitive price point - breathable mesh - adjustable arms that can also be flipped up or down - single lever to adjust height - same lever also allows the chair to rock back a decent amount by pulling it into the "out" position - rolls So why only a 3 star rating? In the very short time I've had this chair, the right arm pad is partially detached. I thought it would be a pretty straightforward fix, but the screw that goes through the arm and into the pad isn't catching the threading built into the pad. Either the screw is stripped or the threading for the screw is. I'm fairly certain this may have happened during shipping because the box it came in was crammed pretty tightly with the chair's pieces. While the pad is still half-attached and functional, this gives me some concerns about the construction of the chair and whether or not it will hold up over time. I may be reaching out the manufacturer over the next couple of weeks to see what if anything they can do for me regarding the bad arm pad. The moment I sat in this chair I immediately disliked it and was certain I would never feel comfortable in it. The back curves very sharply. Tilting my head backward, I could barely get it to rest on the seatback. What's the point of a high back chair if I can't rest my head on it? My shoulders felt like I was reclining, but my stomach and lower back felt thrust forward from the curve. My butt slid way too deep backward, and combined with the fact that the seat slopes downward from front to back, it felt like my butt was wedged into a sharp corner. For reference, I'm a pudgy mid-30s male, 5'10", 220lb. My wife sat in it briefly, she did not like it either and agreed with my critique. If you're looking for a chair with excessive lumbar support and/or you want to feel bent backward like a boomerang, then perhaps this chair is for you. It is sturdy and well built, and it was easy to put together. I disassembled it, stuffed it back in the box, and returned it. Also note, the back and seat are at a fixed angle and tilt backward together. I'd rather have one where the back tilts separately. ... show more

Everything there is to love about a chair, this things got it. The only hindrance is the armrests are a bit hard and can't be adjusted up or down but can be raised out of the way. I recommend picking up some armrest cushions.

Very comfortable, sturdy, well made chair. I am very pleased with this chair. I am at my desk most of the day for work and needed a more comfortable, ergonomic chair that was supportive to my back. I wasn't sure what to expect at this low price but figured I would give it a try and I am glad that I did. The chair was super easy to put together with step by step instructions. My 15 year old put it together for me in just a few minutes. The mesh is nice and thick and feels great on the back while curving to spine and offering support. You can easily adjust the height of the arm rests and flip them up completely. Nice tilt, easy to adjust height, and a sleek stylish look. It was more than I expected, especially at the price.
