Amazingly, this chair arrived fully assembled, minimally wrapped, without a nick or scratch on it! It is sturdy, feels beautiful, solid, and has tons of beautiful little details and an overall sense of high quality. It is however on the small side, so I don't recommend sitting heavily on it, moving it around too much etc. I don't think it is meant for larger/heavier people (I am 5'4 and 150 lbs). I may get a seat cushion just to raise the seat a bit more, as the seat is not super high off the ground. Overall I am thrilled with the purchase and its beauty. Also really digging the glossy finish! Highly recommend for the price! ... show more

These chairs are exactly what I needed: comfortable, light weight & stackable, with a nice classy look. They look really nice & are feather light. The seat is flat with no contours, but it is still very comfortable. The back does have a bit of flex to it when you lean back, but it seems to be very sturdy & I'm sure they will hold up well. They are very easy to stack & unstack, which saves lots of space when not in use. Some other reviewers seemed concerned about putting much weight on them, but they can easily hold the weight of an adult (my husband even stood on one!) with no problem. This is a beautiful chair. It arrived in pristine condition. I bought it for a spare bedroom that has a white wrought iron bed so the style is perfect. It will work well to sit down and put on shoes, etc. I would not recommend it for a dining table chair as the seat is too short to sit on for a long period of time. Perfect for an interior with antique items. I bought the chair from Hercules Flash on Amazon. Perfect height and style for the desk. Both pieces are a small scale. Very Victorian Garrett Style. The desk is sturdy, as well. The chair and desk arrived fully assembled. I despise putting things together. It went from the box to where I planned to put it in 2 minutes. One of the two chairs broke just from my leaning on the back as support when picking up a sheet of paper from the floor. I never got to sit on it. The plastic was still on it. I'm scared to sit on the other one. What a waste.

I bought the Gold Single Chair that was Amazon Used and it was perfect. I love to that I could view it in my room feature. This really helps make my decision. I was a little scared because some of the other reviewers said that they received chip chairs. All I can say personally mine had no flaws. It even came to assemble and it was well packed for shipping. I know that the rental industry loves these wooden Chiavari chairs for weddings, banquets, and so much more. It is a lightweight wooden frame with durable spindles. Not sure how much weight it will hold. I am thin and I will have no problem. I am using it as an office desk in my home. I can not use a normal office chair in that spot because it partially blocks a door. However, this Chiavari chair does not. I will give 5 stars for sure. ... show more
