  • Simple recliner. Very comfy.
Color: Brown
Shopping around town almost all the recliners I see are giant chairs with massage features and cup holders and power this-or-that... I wanted a simple recliner and this fits the bill. You sit in it. Slip the ottoman into position. Put up your feet. Relax. Ahhh. The foam cushioning is deep. There's a lever that's almost hidden on the right side. Pull it out and you can slip the back's angle back and forth. Let the handle go and the chair back locks into the new position (there's something like 8 to 10 notches on the locking rail). The chair's base is on a sort of lazy-susan. You can turn the chair in any direction with little effort. But it won't spin freely like many office chairs. Meh - you don't need to spin this chair. (Jan 26, 2021) I wound up applying a little silicone lubricant to the plastic "bearings" on the upper ring and the chair now spins smoothly and quietly. Chair is not heavy. I had no trouble flipping it around during assembly. Both the chair and ottoman and sliders on their base that allows them to slide smoothly on my hardwood floor. I don't have any carpets so I don't know how easy it is to slide them around on carpets. So its comfortable and has multiple positions. Anything wrong with it? A few things. 1. I would like for the back to recline another 30 degrees or so. The furthest it will go back is pretty nice for a light nap... but it would be nicer if it went back just a bit more. 2. Assembly is a bit of a hassle. I strongly recommend assembling the ottoman first. That will use up some of the bolts and washers and it won't be so confusing figuring out what bolt you need for the various steps in the chair assembly. The chair assembly isn't TOO bad except for Step One. That's where you have to insert bolts that keep the seat attached to the back. The tricky part is that when you try to line up the bolt holes the cushions get in the way. You have to press on the back with one hand, press on the seat with one hand and, when the bolt holes line up, insert a bolts with your 3rd hand. Yeah... that's not easy. I wound up using a knee to sort of move the seat into the right spot. This step would be MUCH easier if there was somebody to give you a hand for a couple of minutes. This step is where you use the supplied wrench. Holds on to one end of the bolt while you tighten the other end. The rest of the assembly can be done by one person without too much trouble. The instructions are in picture diagram form and aren't too hard to follow. The various bolts are hard to tell apart on the instructions. If you do the ottoman first then there's less confusion. 3. The skin looks nice. It's feels good... and it feels VERY thin. It's still in perfect shape after a week of usage but I suspect it might not last a long time. If it splits I'll update this review. But, so far - so good. ----------- Update as of June 2, 2022 ---------- The thin skin is still intact. ... show more

  • Very low to floor , difficult for knee challenged person to get out.
Color: Beige
Very comfortable, love that it swivels

  • Sits very low.
Color: Brown Vintage
Would have been 5 stars except it sits so low that if your not in good shape you might need help. Sort of looks funny. I kept it thinking maybe I can find a solution. Well made and looks nice. Very comfortable.

  • Left means RIGHT and right means LEFT
Color: Brown
It took me far too long to build this. The arms were mislabeled. I was so frustrated. The chair is comfortable. I am 5'10'', this chair is low for me. I would have liked to have known how many inches from the floor it sits. The color is a match to what I wanted.

  • Made in China
Color: Beige
The media could not be loaded. This recliner sits lower then my other furniture. It is comfortable and matches the color of my other chair. It arrived on time. Cons: putting the recliner together can be a challenge. As with most things made in China the pre-drilled holes don’t match up well.

  • Difficult to put together just ok at comfort
Color: Black
Very difficult to attach pieces as hinges weren’t even close to aligned. Arms are difficult to attach also. Swivel is rough needed oil straight out of box would look for something else next time

  • assembly
Color: Brown
Was challenging to get the back of the chair to line up with the seat connections and get the screw in the fitting. After than the remainder of the assembly was easy.

  • Works for me
Color: Black
I’m sitting here reading ridiculous reviews about quality, comfort, construction etc…. What part of this is a chair that’s costs under $400, don’t you people get? This isn’t high end furniture, it’s a glorified home office chair. I’m using it in my basement “Man Cave” as additional seating for Sunday Football Games. You get what you pay for and this is an inexpensive, functional and comfortable recliner. If you want high end furniture, she’ll out another $1,500 and you’ll probably get what you want. For me, this works and I’m happy with my purchase. ... show more
