The goal was to have the jacket fit like it does on the model. I initially bought a 3x because according to the sizing chart and the sizing diagram, my bust size (48") is too big for the 2x and I was afraid it would be too small in general. The 3x was huge all over, but the quality of the material (rayon/nylon/spandex) was really nice. I bought the 2x and it was a better fit, but something told me to try a 1x. The only black 1x that would be delivered in time was the polyester/spandex. While the fit was great, the material felt rough and cheap. I was able to get the 1x in rayon/nylon/spandex and it was perfect...and it fit just like it does on the model. ... show more

Such a cute jacket! Love it! The fabric is not very thick but substantial. The material is a bit rough to the skin I believe. It comes to about the waist with the two front tips hanging down lower. I got the black and white and the black and red and love them both. I will say they are pretty warm on however! I wore one to a wedding over a dress and like to have died from the heat! The material anyway seems quite durable. They are not lined. These jackets are sooooooooo versatile and will go with so much of your wardrobe! Very happy! ... show more

The fit was as expected, I got a bigger size to accomodate my boobage and the jacket hangs nicely on them/not looking pulled/to small. The fabric is a somewhat stretchy, lighterweigt non structured material so it does that draping thing well- will work in the summer pretty well. My dislikes- first, it's short in the back- like it hangs no lower than the waistband of my 'at the waist' pants. This means everything has to be tucked in or it's going to peek out. (pics show this, but it didn't really 'clue in' till I put it on myself) Second, since it's a thin and drapey fabric, it will show lumps/bumps (looking at you back-fat) which since I got black isn't bad, but would definitely make me not want to get it in a lighter color. Third, the drapey points that are at the front/bottom of the jacket appear to hang at different lengths, one is longer than the other. Not a deal breaker (especially when worn with black pants) but I find that mildly annoying. I've worn it a few times and won't return it- but it won't be a wardrobe staple/multiple item purchase either. ... show more

Shoulder pads are cheap and not secured. Too small, and to thick/tall for being so small. Feels like I have a ball of cotton sitting on my shoulder. Always have to "place them" when I put it on. And it's not fitted or "form fitting" so sometimes it slides back and looks like I have a tumor on my shoulder. Can't remember how much I paid, not worth more than $10. Although, it is a cute "cut"/ style - but does. Stay in the same spot. I repeat, looks disheveled unless you stand like a statue all day. The pallefs/ or fold over things on the front (whatever you call them!!! :) - are not secure so always flap around. Or fold over unevenly. Looks disheveled!!! Never wear a shirt with sleeves under this - as there is no silk liner - it will clump on your upper arm and give you nice old lady fat arms. Not a true black either - compared to a high quality blazer and you can see kind of brown. I wouldn't dare wash this - would probably turn dark brown/maroon. Not lined either - which is half the cheapness - results in being too light weight, fold over palles not staying put, and static - yes static - causing wrinkles (throws me back to the 80's. commercials!!! FYI, I'm going overboard on the review details - because I just got an amazon account a week ago and went nuts shopping - returning half the things I bought because I had no idea what I was really getting. Wish more people in the amazon community left more reviews and pics :). ... show more
