So look. I know what and who this was made for, but I have my own ideas. I ordered this as a desk top. When I am done there will be LEDs running the entire underside to illuminate the top. It is going to look awesome. Right now, I have it installed but no lights yet. I can still speak to the quality. It is machined perfectly. No imperfections, no compromise. It’s HUGE. So I’d take measurements before you intend on purchasing it. This is perfect for a commercial kitchen in a restaurant. If you have the space in your personal kitchen, I’d say go for it because this makes a great mis en place station to prep for meals and as a cutting board without having to pull one out. It is pretty durable and a bit heavy, but it’s honestly great for cooking if you can find room for it at work or at home. The ease of use is not exactly practical for most homes, which is why I’d say this is better for a commercial kitchen as you’d have more space to put this and it works better for restaurants than it would in a home. This cutting board is a beast—in the best way. At 72" x 30", it gives me plenty of room to prep without feeling cramped, and the thickness makes it feel super sturdy. It attaches securely with the brackets, but I like that it’s removable for easy cleaning. Definitely feels like commercial quality, but I’m using it at home and it’s been a game-changer for big family meals. This is a beast of a cutting board/work surface. We do a lot of meal prep and food preservation and this almost covers our kitchen island, it creates a huge surface to meal prep on and do what we need to do. It cleans up easily, and at 3/4” thick it is solid. I used it also for game butchery and sausage making and such large work surface is invaluable. ... show more

    • Great item, but the vendor could use a new marketing team...
These are REALLY sturdy, and are quite likely to hold up well through the dishwasher. The finish on these is spectacular. They are thicker than any other I've used, and this will help them keep their shape and I love the fact that they are "adjustable." Some people are two-taco people. Others (like myself) are three taco people. Set one way, the shape will hold two tacos. Flipped over, it holds three. This is also VERY suitable for BAKED shells, in an oven... The sheer weight of them will allow for keeping the fold while they are baking for those that want to reduce their oil intake by baking their shells instead of frying them. This makes them an even better value, given that it the versatility is increased. The one "ding" I'm going to put forth, here, has no relation to the product itself, but to the lapse in judgment on the part of the marketing team... These are stainless steel. NEVER use them in the microwave... Every ridiculous lawsuit has a story behind it. Every ridiculous "warning label" has a tragic (or funny) story behind it. Marketing these as products with "Microwave Safety" nominates the marketing department for this vendor for the bonehead award. It would have been just a "funny story," if it wasn't for the fact that there are actually people that will believe this, and attempt to microwave tortillas, using these. These are the same people that will try to use a lawnmower as an hedge trimmer, in the absence of warning labels to the contrary. Contrary to widespread belief, "common sense" is not as common as it used to be... NEVER MICROWAVE STAINLESS STEEL. Even if the vendor tells you it's "safe." Absolutely beautiful work surface. Well packaged, arrived without damage. Was easily cut and trimmed with ordinary wood blades and circular saw. The 3/4 in. thickness makes for a sturdy surface on almost table. This turned almost almost worthless table into a new tool.

I am really pleased with this poly-top cutting board! It is perfect for my outdoor kitchen, and at 72" x 30", it provides ample space for food prep. The cutting board is thick, nicely weighted, and feels very durable. I also like that it is easy to keep clean. This board has an attractive appearance and is perfect for holding plates, bowls, spices, fruits, vegetables, and whatever else you need while preparing your meal.
