I've gone through a lot of stools over the years and this is, by far, the best I've ever purchased and the easiest to assemble -- just 4 screws and you're done (and you won't have to do it twice if you line up the foot rest with the seat back :) !! The base was very slippery on my tile floor but the rim on the base was wide enough to accommodate 4 of those little rubber bumpers that I had on hand so now I can easily get on and off without sliding around. Height adjustment was a pleasant surprise -- very easy and very smooth once you figure out that you have to sit on the stool in order to lower it. Really great stool. I use it with my Golden Tee Arcade1up and the height adjustment is perfect. the foot rest is nice to have and the stool itself is comfortable. lastly, i was thrilled to find one that was cloth as I have a cat and leather or vinyl would likely get punctured if he were to jump on it. no such issue with cloth. ... show more

Unfortunately, I had to return them. In the picture they appear pure white and are also described as such. I have pure white dining chairs in the eat in kitchen near the island where these would go. I also have white quartz counter tops so this off white color is immediately noticeable. Other than color,the chairs seemed solid for the price. The back stitches were kinda funky, but it's also a 60 something dollar chair. The back is a lower profile and will not even go half way up your back, if that matters to you. They are comfortable in general, but I need my chairs to be true white! ... show more

I got these because my bar height is a bit of an unconventioanl height. I needed adjustable stools. I wanted to have a back to the chair, but I also wanted the chairs to be fairly low profile and not too bulky. Also, I weigh about 200lbs so I wanted chairs that I would feel comfortable sitting in as some are quite narrow and confining. Love these chairs. They are exactly as pictured. I purchased four for our basement bar. They are easy and quick to assemble, and the light grey color is exactly what I wanted. HOWEVER, the seat itself is a bit narrow. It’s not for big booties, that’s for sure. I’m not obese or extremely overweight, I just have some junk in my trunk. My thighs spill over the sides. So, for my big booty friends, these are not for long sitting sessions. overall it is a nice piece of furniture. when you sit on it, you can feel confident that nothing bad will happen, it will perform well, especially for something of that price, because sometimes we the cheap people want quality without paying the price (lol). I remember someone else mentioning on this page that they were thinking about buying one of these for playing guitar. I was considering the same matter and went ahead and bought it. I'm so glad I did. I just sit on it with my foot on an adjustable stand and it lets me comfortably maintain the perfect posture. The back is nice and sturdy and not up too high or low (I'm 6'0".)
