After reviewing all the positive reviews about this lift chair, I bought this lift chair for my Mom in law to ease her mobility issues with her painful knees. My wife says shes now having a hard time getting mama out of the chair she loves it so much! She doesn't have to rock to get up out of a low chair. My wife says Mama even slept in it the first night, and is instantly became her favorite chair! Its a snap to assemble too. It features soft PU leather with thick soft padding, 4 point heat and massage, it reclines almost flat, and raises mom to an almost standing position without straining her knees any at all. All these features for under $500! Thats cheaper than a regular non- lift recliner! I definatly hit a home run with this purchase!

Disabled husband loves it
The chair came early that was great putting it together was easy. Most people will need help getting it in the house. My husband is sleeping in it right now.He loves the massage. I saw that people said it was small, my guy is 6'2 and 250 lbs he fits just fine his feet do hang off the end but not a big deal. I bought this because he is in a wheelchair and I am having to pull him up to get from a chair back to his wheelchair and that was starting to get me in the back. This is great.. My only thing is and it has nothing to do with the chair is Fedex needs to have a class to show their drivers not to be afraid of a DOORBELL. This chair was left at my garage door it was not due until the next day. We got up at 5 am to a downpour of rain that morning. I looked on Amazon make sure the chair would still be here on time.. It said delivery yesterday...UGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH now I am running to the garage door to fine a soaking wet box. The chair was fine but my bp was not.

STUCK IN RECLINED POSITION
I purchased this chair for my aging mother. I was pretty satisfied with it and then after 6 months it was stuck in the reclined position and won’t come down. Sadly this happened while my mom was napping in it as she wasn’t feeling well. Ultimately I had to call 911 and extremely frustrating is she was stuck, had no movement in her right side and was a 2 person assist 24/7 care. It took forever to get her out safely with the EMTS there. Ultimately we did and unfortunately it was determined she needed long term care, I had forgotten that I have moved the chair in a spare room and had forgotten it until recently as I have been preparing my moms house for sale and there it is waste of money. The bigger waste is tying to contact the seller via chat, website, Amazon with zero help. I thought for sure they would supply customer support but guess not and two the garbage it goes! Look for a different company/make and model!

Good value but not for larger folks.

For the price, it's hard to beat a fairly comfortable chair which is also a recliner and lift chair. As mentioned by others, it is small to medium size chair. At 5'7" and 155 pounds, I would not want anything smaller. The head rest is low, and if you have the the foot rest fully engaged, the head rest is tilted back so one is looking up towards the ceiling. We solved this issue by draping a small comforter with some padding over the head rest. Also the arm rests are not firm but rather soft and pillow like, but comfortable. We got the corduroy which is a pleasant grey blue, not as dark as in the pictures. All in all, a good value and one would be hard pressed to find anything better. Would buy again.

I hate this chair!!! I bought it because it’s smaller and would fit in my bedroom so I could sleep in it after I had spinal surgery if needed. It’s the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat in. There’s no back support and no head support whatsoever. If you lay the thing back and try to watch tv you’re looking at the ceiling. I purchased it on the 23 of January and it’s the 28th February and it’s already ripped. I’m extremely careful with my things because I can’t afford to replace them. The only reason I gave this 2 stars was because it is easy to put together. Do not purchase it!!!

Controls can be used on left or right side
I was very happy with the packaging of my chair ( it came in 1 box) and how easy it was for my son to assemble for me. I needed a chair that would allow me to have the controls on the left since I was having surgery on my right arm. It works perfectly. Very comfortable, motor is quiet when reclining or lifting. It is louder when using the massage feature. The only heads up I would give is that it's definitely a chair for those of us on the short side. .
