Update: After submitting this review, I was contacted by Customer Service Reps @ Coolife who wanted to make things right in exchange for replacing both the 24" & 28" bags as a courtesy for all the issues and for correcting having the original customer service agent responding with no resolution offered. They mentioned to me they were a "new company" & were still learning ways to implement customer service, so kudos for re-contacting me to make things right, as replacing the bags was really a great effort to turn the initial service I'd received around. I am still taking off 1 star however, as I don't feel like it should have taken me writing a poor review to receive a resolution, but at least Coolife did the right thing in the end. Good job Coolife in redeeming yourself! Way to go! I've been waiting to write a review to really see how this luggage performed, as I purchased several bags from Coolife and unfortunately, disappointed to write, NOT well! I am a travel nurse, that has traveled to various destinations throughout the pandemic and my bags lasted literally just over the warranty period, where the bags cracked right on the corners, even one corner the screw came out, and after emailing the company's customer service to see if anything at all could be done, basically told me that b/c the bags were 9 months out of warranty to "have a nice day" and there was nothing they could do. No coupon for even a future purchase discount....nada. Now, while I realize that they are not obligated to do anything past a warranty of 2 years, to me, good old fashioned common sense and customer satisfaction would indicate that to keep a happy customer would be to offer at least something other than basically telling them to "F*** off" when they have a broken product just after a warranty period is expired, and frankly, I don't think 2 years and 9 months is really an excessively long period of time for a period of luggage to last that purports itself to "last a lifetime" of travel or whatever these claims they make. Do better Coolife! From both a customer service standpoint and manufacturing standpoint. I realize these bags are not at a high price point, but still. Jeez. I will also be copying this same review to the 24" bag which also sustained damage to the corner and posting the picture of that bag to the review. Shame. I really wanted to leave something positive for this company. Just couldn't do it in good conscience. I will also be leaving poor reviews for them on all of my travel nursing and healthcare professional groups that I am a part of, which are considerable in number, as we nurses like to share information and helpful tips for those of us healthcare professionals that travel for a living. Guess I'll be trying another bag company moving forward to see how they do & letting these go in the recycle bin for more landfill contribution. Shame on you Coolife. I travel frequenly and have gone through many pieces of luggage. This is a new piece that will be on its maiden voyage in a couple of days; but, it does appear to be very sturdy I love the locks on it I think it’ll help prevent it from popping open and will see as of now I love it.

The only fully hardside locking luggage besides Samsonite available. The caps on the top corners help, although it could use them on the bottom too. Wish the handle extended more and wish it had a handle on the bottom. It's a little smaller than most medium suitcases, and there is no flexibility to squeeze more in of course. You have to make sure the latches are aligned and that it closes completely -- if you are even just a little off it won't latch; always verify before locking it. Note that with these suitcases you can't put it on a luggage rack or set it against the wall and just open the top. You have to turn it sideways and open it all the way to get things in and out, so it takes more room. But it is a good option if you have things you want to lock up and the hotel doesn't have a safe. ... show more

The luggage is fantastic and worth 10 stars. Amazon offer for 40% off when using AmEx points is a scam. I followed all the requirements, activation, etc but no discount. Customer service is no help telling me to call AmEx. I made an Amazon purchase Amazon should honor promotion shown. ! But to confirm the luggage is GREAT and worth the price ( but better with the discount ) 12/13/22 Revision- The luggage is great ! I have several pieces and my most recent purchase is a gift, I have also recommended to a least 4 friends and a few other people in the airport. The media could not be loaded. I researched and then started shopping for luggage. I purchased a higher end brand initially and returned because the zippers were rough and handle was wobbly. I purchased another brand on Amazon and the luggage had a strong chemical smell and construction looked cheap. I finally decided to buy this 24" Coolife based on research and so happy I did. It's absolutely beautiful! The navy blue is slightly different than my photos reflect but a nice blue. The aluminum frame with the good old fashioned ziperless opening is awesome! The handles appear to be very well made. The interior is nicely lined with navy blue material - one side has a strap to secure items and the other side has zippered cover with two deep pockets. The zippers appeared to be higher quality than much more expensive luggage brands. I just received it so can't yet attest to durability but it has an aluminum frame and the exterior is polycarbonate which is more flexible and higher impact restancce than ABS. Usually at this price point you will get the ABS so this is a solid upgrade. The wheels are great quality and excellent maneuverability. The handle is very sturdy-it doesn't wobble like the more expensive well-known brand luggage I initially purchased. Plus absolutely no chemical smell. I highly recommend - buy it now don't take as long as I did. ... show more
