These are great. As stated wash them with dish soap and the smell will disappear. I mean they are rubber, they smell a little like rubber.

Dumbells themselves are top quality. However, it came very oily/greasy. Although it was sealed, it was apparent that it was repacked. Turns out it was either gasoline/petrol/diesel. The fumes were unbearable even after I put it in a separate room. This is very unsafe/dangerous being both slippery, nauseous, and lightheaded. I thoroughly washed it down with soap and commercial degreaser. There's absolutely no way Amazon themselves would have been able to catch this. ... show more
