I like this winch. It is well made, simple to use, smooth action. Right now I an using it to pull a tree away from my house. I will increase tension over a period of time to train the tree to grow vertically. When I’m done with the tree I will keep it in my truck for a recovery winch. Reviewers have noted that there is only 3 feet of travel. But that’s also less cable to bind, twist and swear at. These folks got it here two days earlier than they estimated. 5 stars. ... show more

seems to pull fine, cable is super stupid shirt, but says that in description, so puling more than 2.5 feet, not gonna happen. trying to let the tension off or lower something slowly, not gonna happen, the release for let cable out is hard to use, need 2 maybe three hands to use this thing. would definaely goa differnt rout if you want to actually use something like its intended to be used. ... show more
