I use my Fit Geno Back Brace to help my lower back when working as a caregiver .Doing my work I have to lean down or lift constantly , I use a computer laptop interface while working (sometimes hunched over standing). The constant leaning over aggravates my lower back herniated disc to excruciating l
evels of pain. This Fit Geno brace actually helps with the pain substantially. The adjustable compression belts which are on each side really cinch the belt to give extra support. Much better than those belts that are used with just the one thick velcro strap. If I'm picking up on my patient, I feel the support. If I need to say something negative for validity, I would say the sizes run very small, I wear a medium size pants, ( curves..enough said 😜) I had ordered the medium but returned it for a large size, I felt the medium was to small and this big one is a tad bit bigger . I would not trade the Fit Geno in at all - it work great! I even gave one to my patient, he suffers from constant pain due to hardware in his back, and he has had drastic improvements with his pain which allows him greater mobility. I highly recommend that if you suffer from back pain get yourself one of these, regardless of the current hype of other back belts on the market.

Great support for lower back

I purchased the Fit Geno back brace to help relieve soreness and pain that I was having due to a recent lumbar strain. I was having mild to severe pain mostly in the morning immediately after getting out of bed. The pain continued throughout the day from simply walking or performing the slightest phy
sical activities such as housework or even mowing the lawn. Wearing the Fit Geno back brace reduced the pain significantly. I could feel the support the brace was providing to my lower back. The support it provided allowed me to perform my daily activities without experiencing the pain I was having without the brace. I found the brace to be easy to don and adjust. The brace is well constructed and the velcro straps hold superbly. The only issue I have is that I tend to sweat underneath the brace if I am performing any type of physical activity. I have only been wearing the brace in the summer months so this is not surprising. Overall, the Fit Geno is a great product that has allowed me to perform my daily activities without experiencing lower back pain.

Great back brace for my trucker husband...

My husband uses this daily while he unloads. He's 6'4 and weighs 300lbs and wears a size 44 jean. The sizing seems to run a bit smaller than you'd think (him having a 44 inch waist and using the 53-69 waist size. This does work with lower back pain. I stand for 10 hrs and have right where the back meets your butt. And I use this belt to work and I wear it for the first 8 hrs because after that my pain is gone. I love it I do recommend it to anyone with lower back pain.

I had ordered the Large size and felt it was to small and this big one is a tad bit to big. BUT they are adjustable and they fit to order. I would not trade these in at all - they work great. I even gave one to my Mother-in-Law, that's how much I think these work well.

Lower Back Better/Better Posture

I'm a older guy who is doing part-time work in a place that requires standing for long hours. My body does not like standing for long hours. I can walk for hours but not stand. Doing my work I have to lean down to type and use the computer interface while helping customers (hunch over). The constant

I probably would have never bought a brace but my girlfriend was also suffering from back pain so I thought it could help her if it didn't help me. I'm surprised. My posture is much better throughout the day which has also helped the pain in my knees when I stand probably because it's aligning things better and removing lower extremity pressure. The adjustable compression belts which are on each side really cinch the belt to give extra support. Much better than those belts that are used in warehouse work with just the one thick velcro strap. It's really easy to get a good wrap around the midsection. The velcro sticks really well and the product is well made. My girlfriend liked it so much I can't get it back. Very much worth the reasonable price.

Pretty good support and usage

I wanted to use this a bit before I would review. I do like this back brace. If there could be a couple tweaks it would be plus five stars to me. One is that I wish it had a little larger area of the velcro on the closure. It has a large pad...but larger would help when you are really twisting and wo
rking hard, making sure it is fastened tightly. Though it has not let go at all yet. I also would love some little support - like the metal bars on the back around more to the front or side. As when you are bending over and working the front likes to get folded over on you. Lastly, and it is just probably me....I would love just a little thicker pad or something for the lumbar support. Just a little pad or something right on that spot would really help me. I know some offer that, and I could probably add something to it. I do like this support and I know these are things I can add to make it what I really need when I am working and twisting and lifting. It does help me a lot, just looking forward to when I really stress my back.
