The pruners work great but It's going to take some time getting used to the rotating handle. Like anything new it's change and I just have to get used to it.

This PowerGear2 Pruner is quite good so far. It feels good and light in the hand. The cutting action is smooth. And it handles medium duty pruning needs very easily. My main con at this point is that I am unsure of its durability. I've purchased a couple of Fiskars pruners over the past 3-5 years, and while they both are still OK to use, they each have developed minor issues within a 1-2 years of purchase (one has a broken locking mechanism, while the gearing mechanism on the other is no longer smooth). I regularly clean, oil and sharpen these pruners, but I haven't had the best experience as far as the longevity of these tools go. Still, this is a pretty good choice for a pruner as long as you don't mind possibly needing to buy a new one after a few years of use. ... show more
