  • Love This Amp
Style: Combo Amp
This is a review of the Fishman Loudbox Micro Amp. I love this amp. I recently got myself an acoustic/electric Ovation guitar. A present to myself. I already have Marshall and Fender amps for my electric guitar, but I hear that those types of amps do not allow the acoustic pure qualities of an acoustic guitar ring out. This is truly a micro amp. It's about the size of a lunchbox. But even as a small amp, it has a good deal of power as well as nice functions, such as Reverb and Chorus. Plus it has a separate channel for a microphone, if you were so inclined. Certainly worth the money. I play guitar for my own enjoyment. I have no plans to perform live, but if I ever change my mind, this is the amp to use. My verdict: 5 stars. ... show more

  • Amazing sound quality
Style: Combo Amp
I’d put this amp up against other amps costing twice as much or twice as big. The sound is simply amazing. Love the onboard reverb and chorus effects. Lightweight but sturdy. 40 watts is plenty for a small venue.

  • Excellent Value for first Amp
Style: Combo Amp
Best first amp I could buy. All the power and features you need for practice and learning how amps work. Excellent voice and instrument sound quality for the price. The only difference between the Micro and the mini loud box is the speakers are smaller, lower wattage and no blue tooth. A great value for a first amp. ... show more

  • Small amp. BIG sound!
Style: Combo Amp
Awesome little amp. Perfect for home practice or small room gigs. Crisp, clear, very natural acoustic sound and excellent vocals. The onboard effects are just right. I love that it’s small and light yet really delivers great sound.

  • Surprisingly good!
Style: Combo Amp
Great little speaker. Packs a bunch, the sound penetrates nicely, and I don’t mind shlepping it around. I’ve used it for a mandolin and acoustic guitar in rooms with 80 or so people.

  • Great for small gigs or studio’s
Style: Combo Amp
Love my Fishman artist. Can’t go wrong. The sound is phenomenal for small gigs

  • This is a really handy little amp.
Style: Combo Amp
I am impressed with the sound quality of this little amp. I love that it is light weight. I have been using its big brother Fishman Loudbox mini amp for gigs, but wanted a lighter, smaller amp. This micro amp fits the bill. However, there is one feature on the larger amp that this little amp does not have--the micro amp does not have phantom power. This is not a dealbreaker for me, as I do not usually plug in a condenser microphone, and I do have an in-line phantom power unit that I can use if needed. Buyers should be aware, though, that the Fishman micro amp does not provide phantom power. I look forward to using the Fishman Loudbox micro amp at my next gig. ... show more

  • Exactly as advertised.
Style: Combo Amp
This app does what it's supposed to do. It's a shame it's not a battery amp, but that's its only drawback. It has enough power for a small venue. If you perform acoustic guitar the microphone Jack does a fairly good job. The reverb is adequate.
