I don't know of a single battery-powered unit that can sound this good and loud, with fine rich tones and more than the COOLMUSIC BP40D Battery Powered Amplifier and Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I purchased the BP40D back in April 2024, and after the initial charge, in late April, I only had to attempt a new charge in late July 2024. Despite playing it outdoors with my acoustic-electric Martin guitar and a microphone plugged in, the charge held, from playing at an outdoor Boy Scout Jamboree to practice at home. I was first inspired to purchase it after a fellow musician, who did a lot of small gigs at campgrounds, senior homes, and more, told me he used the BP40D and its many qualities. It is absolutely, the best fit for a single musician or two to use, with both their instruments and microphones plugged in, without sacrificing rich Bose-like quality....yet at the most reasonable price ever. The size and portability are what sold me on it. I even stopped using my Boss Katana 100 W Amp, since this Coolmusic BP40D sounded better, had better reverb and gain, was lighter to transport, and did not require a separate sound system for singing or speaking! The output was also louder and clearer than my Boss Amp, as my guitar amplifier. Serious full-time musicians or part-time music enthusiasts like me can benefit from keeping one or more of these in their arsenal. I highly recommend for first-class Bose-like quality, without breaking the bank, in these tough economic times. You won't regret it. In addition, the Coolmusic Corporate office is extremely kind, helpful, and responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. I am 100% satisfied with both the product and the manufacturer. It is the BP40D Amplifier System and Bluetooth Speaker, for your electronic music needs.

I'm a fairly busy musician. I play at a small wine bar EVERY Friday and Saturday night. This thing is perfect for the small venue, and I pretty much have all inputs and volume controls set mid range and it sounds great. Of course, if I said it sounded awful, then that could be a direct reflection on me, and not the amp. haha. But I loved this unit so much, I bought a second one. I also live stream, with a very minimal setup, just using a spare phone. So the record output works perfect, running straight into the phone. Then I don't have so much background noise. There's plenty of inputs for me to occasionally play the guitar on some songs, then a keyboard plugged in for other songs. When the venue gets too noisy I just plug in some noise cancelling earbuds in to the headphone jack and it drowns everybody out. The battery life is really impressive. I usually play for just over 3 hours on a Friday (1 mic and electric piano). I leave everything set up and come back in the next night and play for 3 more hours, and there seems to still be about half battery left. (I've never run it down completely to see how long it lasts. Because of course everything shutting down in the middle of a gig might be embarrassing.) So then I just plug it in at home for the next week and it works great. It's super light and easy to lug around. I always put everything on a dolly for one trip, and the size of this thing is perfect. I highly recommend getting this thing. Like I said. I ended up buying two of them.

Iโve been using the Coolmusic BP40D for outdoor and bar gigs, and honestly, it punches way above its weight. For such a compact amp, it delivers clear, powerful sound that cuts through outdoor noise and bar chatter without breaking a sweat. What really stands out is how portable it isโsuper easy to carry, set up, and get going. Plus, itโs got enough volume and clarity to handle live sets without needing to be pushed too hard. It handles vocals, acoustic instruments, and even backing tracks like a champ, making it a versatile go-to for gigging musicians. Build quality feels solid too. Itโs taken a few knocks on the road and hasnโt missed a beat. For the price, itโs a serious steal. Many great features and long battery life. Clear sound. Very versatile. For the money, the feature set is tops. This one is listed as 80 wattsโI do have a 30 watt Fender amp which is far louder, for comparison, but the number and types of inputs make this an astonishingly-usable, portable PA/amp. Line-in and BT work for phones to play backing music through it, but there is no EQ for those inputs and that sound option is a bit flat. The sound is โokโ for streaming music thru it, not as good as โpartyโ BT speakers. However, I have used my phone, a mic, and guitar simultaneously and it does sound very decent in that combination. It has phantom power so you can use condenser mics, too, but for this kind of singer songwriter busker amp, a dynamic mic works better for me, anyway (less noise). My acoustic guitar with built-in preamp sounds excellent thru this amp. My electrics without external effects are โaverageโ. Itโs not specifically a guitarโ amp, but more of a jack of all trades device. Seems made for busking solo or with a couple others. Iโve also used it for karaoke with my phone, usb sound card, and a mic. Have not tested it in a big space but I get an inkling youโd need the bigger models for that. Iโd say this amp is good for a 30-foot radius in front of you performanceโa medium room. The only thing itโs really missing is some improved EQ for line-in/BT. Overall, I like it a lot. Best in its class. The next step up is double the price, soโฆ.
