  • Can't go wrong with Fishman combo amps
Incredibly versatile amplifier. Works well with microphones, can be easily routed to a board for mixing, as I recall it doesn't weigh a ton either, sounds great, really is one of the best combo amps you can get!

  • Clear powerful sound in a small package
Great little amp! I've done a few solo shows with it and it cranks enough outside for the venue to ask me to turn it down! Crystal clear, cool effects and the feedback knob is handy, I always have it all the way up. I like that I can choose different effects for my vocal and guitar at the same time , but I wish both effects "a" and "b" could be separated. As it is your reverb or delay will be on both, although you can separately adjust each channel, I some times wish I could reverb one and delay the other, but that's what pedals are for! The "b" effects are cool to and that can enhance alot of the sounds. Over great acoustic/mic 2 channel with plenty of power for small to medium venues. ... show more

  • Great sounding unit.
I play guitar and sing, and I purchased this amplifier in October 2020 with the intention of playing little gigs in the area. Then, health problems struck, and I wasn't able to use it as intended until this past summer. I've used it several times outdoors, in church, and at the local community center to play and sing, and it has performed flawlessly. The indoor spaces I've played aren't that big, roughly 50' by 50', or 2500 square feet, but the highest I've had to turn the master volume is to about the 9 o'clock position. When I played this past weekend, people I talked to said what I played and sang came across very clearly. The anti-feedback function works very well, I've never dealt with any feedback at any of my performances. The effects are unspectacular, yet solid. My one complaint is that I cannot put different effects on my voice and guitar. I'd like to have a little chorus on my guitar and a touch of delay on my voice at the same time, which isn't possible with this unit to my knowledge. Despite that slight drawback, I still give this amplifier 5 out of 5 stars. It is well worth the money I paid for it. Well done, Fishman! ... show more

  • The upgrade without remorse
If you were thinking about upgrading from the loudbox mini absolutely go for the artist. Best sounding acoustic amp and vocals sound really clean.

  • Buyer Beware
The first one I purchased had to be shipped back to the manufacturer for a repair. When I got it back it worked fine, but again had problems with channel 2. So I shipped it back, they sent me a new one, again it worked fine but then before a performance, it simply didn't work. So now I have to ship it back for the third time. I've owned a Fishman amp since 2015, and recently replaced it with a newer one. It seems the quality has greatly decreased. Customer service rarely answers the phone and they offered no compensation for shipping. ... show more

  • The Mini is fine but the Artist is the one!
I have owned the Mini for a couple of years and it's fine for practice or as a stage monitor. The Artist is a fuller sounding and more musical amp. Notes on my acoustic that I was blaming on the guitar or the capo are now ringing out. It's really loud for the home but you can always turn it down. The "Pad" button does the trick. Push in for home. I haven't had it very long and haven't had it cranked on a stage to check out all the features and feedback reduction. Fishman has the been the standard for years for a reason. I am confident that I have made the right choice moving up to the artist. You should too! ... show more

  • A good cranking Amp for acoustic guitars.
Read instruction manual carefully. This Amp has many features that will satisfy both amateur and professional. Plenty of cranking power. You should get a foot pedal to be able to use different sound modes.

  • Great amp for acoustic electric violin
I love my new amp which pairs nicely with the Barcus Berry AE Vibrato violin. It’s my first experience with playing plugged in, but I love the sound….plenty of power while maintaining excellent sound quality. It is straightforward to use and the effects really enhance the violin. I also found it to be a easy size to work with. It’s not too cumbersome and light enough for me to lug upstairs without assistance. I’m very pleased and I look forward to taking my violin playing to the next level. ... show more
