I used for multiple camping trips. Seems to be holding up. It's not a solid piece. It's 3 tubular pieces that screw together. I don't leave it in a fire very long but it work well for my purposes when stirring a fire or moving logs

The poker gets very hot. It also does not stay intact at the joints 100% of the time. In the future I would not get a collapsible one.
