  • Great Function, Great Design, Not Ultralight
Color: Red
Wonderful stove and pot set at a fair price. I've used it several times backpacking in the Sierras. Love the auto-ignite clicky thing. Works easy and fast, even in windy conditions. Also, burns strong and heats water fast; I was using it in 30-40 degree temps with 20+ mph wind gusts and it STILL did the job in a couple of minutes. The insulation around the pot is nice so you can hold it and eat right after heating. The stand attached to a standard fuel cannister and makes it very stable on anything half like a level surface; also, it comes with a little "adapter" thing for other pots (like a Toaks 750ml or something) to sit on it for use. Everything, including 1 fuel cannister nestles inside, so it's compact for what it is. Note, this is not an "ultralight" setup. I weighed the stove and stand on our kitchen scale at 237 grams (8.34 oz) and the pot at 263 grams (9.27 oz). So, 17+ oz for the total setup. You can get lighter kit (and for a little less cash), but, as I said, it functions VERY well, and the design means it is more fuel efficient than some basic stoves (thinking the BRS 3000T etc). Note 2: the pot cannot be used on an open campfire (the base of the pot and insulation discourage that). All in all, great stove and pot set; excellent function, not ultralight. ... show more

  • How easy it is to use. Fun.
Color: Black
This Fire Maple is my favorite piece of camping gear. Every morning I have to have my coffee. It's so easy to set up, built in starter for flame and water boils in two minutes. It's so cute and easy to use. And then when finished it just fits together so nicely to store away. Genius, whoever thought this one up. Done. It's the perfect size and sturdy. I had no problems. Love ❤️ it. ... show more

  • Great budget stove if you don’t want to spend money on a Jetboil
Color: Green
Works just as good as the Jetboil, if not the same. I like that it comes in different colors and everything fits perfectly inside the pot for easy carrying. I filled it with water half way and it boiled it just under 2 minutes. I just wish the plastic components were a bit better quality. With heavy gas canister, they’ll probably wear overtime but that’s not a big deal I guess. ... show more

  • Works great
Color: Dark black
First time I've ever used the stove like this boils water really fast seems to work just fine.... And 150 g fuel canister fits inside of it perfectly along with everything else that came with.

  • Love it
Color: Red
I would buy this over a jet boil any day. It’s a little loud but works great and is way cheaper than other stuff on the market.

  • So fast and so easy
Color: Red
Finally got to use this on a 3 day backpacking trip. It worked perfect. Boiled water super fast. It’s easy to assemble and I love how everything stores right inside including the fuel canister. Used for 3 days and two nights with a small fuel canister (the 4 oz I believe). Made plenty of coffee and meals and left with a good portion of fuel. I liked everything about it. I was torn between this one and the major name brand one and decided this was worth a try. Especially since it has a coupon. I don’t regret the decision at all. It’s a great cook system and so easy to use. Weighs more than a rocket stove but it’s a complete cook system and works even when windy and it was windy on this trip and nights in 30s. ... show more

  • Wanted to chime in
Color: Red
I do not normally write reviews for purchases, usually because there are dozens of folks already saying what I would have said. In this case, I had a hard time finding definitive answers to questions I had and just splurged and bought it. The biggest questions were, how does it compare to a jetboil and is it worth it? First and foremost, this obviously is not an ultralight piece of gear, so if you are an ultralighter, you already know that this isn't for you and neither is the jetboil. Now, to answer the questions. My first impression when unboxing the stove was that it looked pretty sturdy and true to what was advertised. I have a couple 220g coleman canisters, so i set it all up and did a trial boil. In my garage with an ambient temp of around 75 degrees Fahrenheit, I got water to a roiling boil in under 3 minutes. Considering that I was boiling a full 1 liter of water I was impressed. From review videos and demos I have seen, in similar conditions, it was right on par with a jetboil flash. My other concern was, after I get a boil going, how long until it cools off. All of the components were cool enough to pack up after about 5 minutes of pouring out water. The only issue I have currently is that the coleman canisters do not fit inside the pot, so I will have to find a fuel canister that fits inside to make packing easier. All in all, it is a solid piece of gear that does as advertised and boils water quickly, efficiently, and comes in well under the price of a jetboil. ... show more
