Excellent! A strong reco for the new 6.8" Paperwhite Kindle! Just ordered the newest Kindle, at their new sale price, & excellent performance of features, & better than old Kindle of 2 models ago. This Fintie cover is excellent! As ordered the Amazon brand one, with the Kindle, but just returned it=it was loose in the cradle of the Kindle, was covering only the corners not the sides, & the fabric was uncomfortable in the hand. So, ordered this Fintie cover, as had on the older Kindle Paperwhite. It covered the Kindle complete all around, not just the corners=safer for drops or bumps...the tab to open it, extended out a bit=easy to open...the on/off button on the bottom of the Kindle (STUPID place to put it, as can bump it off when up right=why not put it on the TOP? Duhhhh!), well this cover has a recess on the bottom where button is, in the cover, so that it guards the off/on button, so can't be bumped(=a main reason to buy alone!)....& is light weight, great design patterns, & nice suede type inner lining=grips the fabric of pants or pillow, if on the lap folded open. So, all in all, a no brainer & excellent Kindle cover!!! Great colors too!(got the "starry" one=👍) So, a strong reco!!

I decided I needed a new cover for my kindle and this one fit my kindle paper-white perfectly. The colors are vibrant and the cover is not slippery so no concerns of dropping the kindle. Also it does as advertised and when the cover is lifted the kindle turns on, no issues with that as it works well.

Perhaps I just missed it in the description but there is no closure "tab" or "buckle" if you will. It closes and stays shut well with just the one magnet but I like the added security of the additional tab like buckle. The colors are very vibrant and overall it is a pretty good cover.

Nice case. Fits perfectly. Outside surface is hard slippery cheap feeling. Nothing like the cool textured feel of the kindle itself. Looks to be very protective and durable. Great deal for five dollars.
