I actually love this cover. It's clever in appearance, and doesn't cut corners in build quality. The spine/joint lays thin even when opened all the way, so it's comfortable to hold. It's magnetic, which is convenient. It holds up well to things that would scuff it or dent it. I wasn't expecting something this good for what it is. The pen holder is also very reliable. fits, feels an looks good! does not add much weight, color looks really nice high quality. the only thing I wish it had, was a way to make it stand. but, the two magnets hold the cover nicely, sturdy case! model is a 1st gen 10.2 Kindel Scribe

Stylish, solid, and smart. A nice accessory for my Kindle Scribe 2022. I own three other covers but I prefer this since it is convenient to carry around in my hand (which looks good) or in a bag with other devices. The solid feel gives security to the device too. When holding the Scribe in my hand, I fold the front cover over and underneath the device. When working at my desk or at a table the front cover can lay open and flat but some amount of space is needed as the device is relatively large when compared to other devices. I am a left hander so this is not much of a problem. Of course, I can turn the Scribe upside down and hold it in my right hand while I write with my left hand, if needed. However, I have spent my life as a left hander, adjusting to a right handed world, so this is definitely not an issue for me. Rather, I have an extra option which right handers do not! ... show more

I originally got the plant-based leather cover by Amazon, but the top fold wouldn't stay closed in my backpack. It might have had something to do with weak magnets but I think it was more of how the fold design would slip down then buckle a bit. I didn't have that problem with this side fold cover. It's fun and feels like stiff protection. The only thing that bothers me is that it is super slick and I worried about dropping it. But I bought Non-Abrasive Grip Tape Strips by CatTongue and it's perfect. While I love the nostalgia of the composition notebook look, I would like to see a clear cover version to take advantage of seeing the cover of the book in currently reading. I read a lot of reviews worried about the pen and how it may not hold very well. Mine holds great. I'm not worried about it falling out. I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more
