We tried three different Apple Pencil sleeves and this one was by far the best of the bunch. The silicone is smooth and comfortable at the pencil grip area, graduating to flattened anti-roll sides toward the top. The top cap is easy to remove for charging, and we attached a plastic coil lanyard to the top which also attaches to our ipad case, so that it doesn't get lost by my child who is using it a great deal for online school. You can leave the nib cap on to give some friction while writing, or take it off to use the original nib. The adapter tether is also extremely useful for not losing the tiny adapter. Even if I'm not sure I will leave it attached to the charging cable, the tether adds a bit of protection to the adapter and makes it easier to spot in the place we keep our tech accessories. We ordered the Mint Green color and it is even better looking in person than on the screen. Almost a Tiffany Blue. It met our needs perfectly at a very affordable price. ... show more

It looks cute. Color matches the picture, for what I bought. It feels very grippy and sturdy, perfect feel for me. Especially cause without it I feel like it might slip from my hand. Super easy to use the pencil. I love how it has the cap (the end of my apple pencil Gen1) to the sleeve itself. It makes it so much harder to lose it (something I've done a lot). It also has flat edges (isnt completely round) so the pencil doesnt roll off so easily. The only thing I dont like is that it made my apple pencil too thick to now fit into my iPad case (maybe it's just my case). Only my knockoff apple pencil fits, which isn't terrible but isn't pleasant either. Pros: cute, works, fits perfectly, cap attachment, flat edges (doesnt roll away) Cons: doesnt fit my case anymore ... show more

This is a nice product and is exactly as advertised. I ended up returning mine because when this grip is on the pencil is too thick to fit inside my iPad case. But if you have a different kind of case you’re probably fine.

It is a very nice sleeve. Smooth to the touch. It gives you a firm hold. The only inconvenience is that it doesn't fit in the Ipad case I bought and I think it won't fit in any other case since the slot for the pen is usually made for a snug fit so the pen doesn't fall. I, like many, have dropped my pen and had the cap disappear. After paying $10 for a new cap, I bought this sleeve to make sure it doesn't happen again. I like the friction it provides and the tip protection. The cap is still easy to take on and off while in the holder. This Apple pencil casing is what I’ve been looking for. Whenever I charge my Apple pencil, I worry that I will misplace the cover. However, with this, now I won’t. Easy to slide on. Comfortable grip to write. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for something to keep their Apple cover safe when charging. The only thing is, if you have a pencil holder attached to your case, it probably won’t work with this casing.
