I wore these on a long 3.5 hour bike ride and they were effective in protecting my arms from the sun. I also wore sunscreen underneath, just in case, but as the fabric is opaque, I don't think sun could get through even without sunscreen. They are lightweight, kind of like lightweight tights for the arms. They slide on and off easily and stayed put around the shoulders, even on my skinny arms. I would not call them breathable however, as the material is synthetic (poly, spandex). Only natural fabrics will be breathable. But because they are lightweight, my arms did not get too hot on ~80F day. Maybe as the temp increases, they will feel stuffier. Overall, I'm happy with them and will keep wearing them. ... show more

These sleeves are comfortable and relatively light weight. They offer good sun protection. However, I rated them as "4" (instead of "5") because a couple of them raffled at one end relatively quickly. I think the quality could be improved.

These are real nice…stay up on your arm. I’m always cold, but have laid sweaters and handmade shawls down and forgotten them! These fold up and easily fit in pocket or purse. Thanks!

I like that these arm sleeves stay in place and go from wrist to arm pit. Good coverage and slenderizing. I don't know how comfortable they will be in real time. May be too tight.
