Complete snowshoe set at an affordable price. Adjustable poles twist and lock in place and a zippered tote bag for storage. As a newbie, used it on both deep snow and on a packed down, icy ground surface. The 21" shoes were easy to manuever. Even in more than 3 feet of snow, I was able to move fairly easy. I wore rain boots with heavy fleece socks for warmth. The rain boots are easy to get in and out. If you put your feet in plastic bags they slip in and out very easy! Just a trick I use!!! I know snow boots would fit as well. The snowshoes will be useful in the yard to get around or just for fun. To carry a heavy load, I would even try a larger snowshoe to compare, but this may work.

The snowshoes and poles were easy to get on/put together. And it's nice to have a bag to keep everything together. The first trip out with the snowshoes was in 4° weather. They were fantastic and there were NO issues with keeping the snowshoes on. I didn't have to keep adjusting any straps! And you can't beat the price. Highly recommend!

Nothing fancy here, just lightweight, functional, and easy to store snow shoes. The caring card easily carries all items and stores in a compact manner.

This was a great starter set, providing solid grip and support on the snow. The bootstraps and associated ratcheting system worked well to connect to my boots, providing a snug, seamless fit. My only minor complaint is that compared to the other folks in my group, these created significantly more back spray than the rest, covering me with snow up to the back of my thighs at times. Nonetheless, I was able to hike at a brisk pace with confidence, thanks to good pants. Overall, I like these snowshoes, especially as an occasional user.

If you're looking to start snow shoeing, then these are a great option to get started. They're sturdy, and you can tell that a lot of thought went into them. I've dry-tested them, so to speak, and they fit my trail runners really well. I would say that boots are probably better for these guys, though. Now, let's talk about the trekking poles. The poles themselves are solid, and will probably put up with a ton of wear and tear in the future. They're heavy, a lot heavier than my current hiking poles. They come with snow baskets, which makes sense. The carbide tips are rigid, too. Let's talk about the bad, though. The latching hardware seems a little weak. The plastic is very soft, which means it'll do well in the cold. However, I'm not too sure how long they'll last, especially if I use them to hike, too. The entire set up comes with a great bag to store everything together, and it can easily be hung up in the off months. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality, and I'm excited to use them in the future!

I was pleased to get this pair of 25 inch Snowshoes and Trekking Poles that come with an Instruction Sheet and a vented Carry Bag with a zipper. I am a total noob and have never tried snowshoeing before. I was pleased to see these have an instruction sheet for how to wear them since I've never put a pair of snowshoes on. Videos help too. These are well made and should support me. It is important to get a size to go with the weight to be carried. Were I hiking with a heavy gear pack and stuff I'd need a bigger pair to suit the load. See the listing chart for weight support guidelines. These look great with the blue aluminum frames and pole shafts that are light in weight. These have thick bottom boot cleats and good bindings for my boots. This set comes with a extendable pair of Trekking poles that feature a telescoping shaft that locks tightly, have snow baskets and wrist loops. The poles have a rubber tip which pops off to reveal a carbide end that limits slips on rock and can dig into ice- 2nd picture. I love that! Rentals at ski lodges can be $30 a day plus deposit plus late fees - or higher. With these I don't have to even go to a ski area, any snowed over mountain trail will do me fine.
