So, foolishly, I was hoping to use this as a backdrop to catch arrows from target practice so that my kid's activities would not impale the neighbors. I was vaguely hopeful that a canvas tarp, hanging vertically, and not secured at the bottom might allow for enough of a velocity slowdown that the arrow would drop harmlessly to the ground. This did not work. We tried also switching to blunt tips. That did not work. In all cases, the arrows went all the way through the tarp, fletching and all and kept on cruising until it hit whatever / whomever was behind it. Neither the 20 lb. draw target bow nor the kiddie (10 lb?) bow were stopped. It is mostly suitable for keeping the rain off the straw target, if there are not too many holes. Good product. I use it to cover my longhorn grill. Protects grill from the elements at less than half the cost of a grill cover. It will likely last longer than one season. Not a custom fit, but I will take durability over looks any day.

I like the canvas tarp (8x10) just fine, it is made very well, I used it for a canopy I made to put my ebike underneath and it has kept it very dry and has protected it from the sun. I would definitely buy another one. It outlasts and looks so much better than a green plastic tarp, It also isn't noisy like plastic is in high winds. It's a "No Brainer" when compared to the price difference ... show more
