The media could not be loaded. The Good: First, I'd like to start with the fact that I love these lamps. There's a large color variety and they seem to be extremely responsive. I got these so that my girlfriend and I could let each other know when we're thinking about one another. We also end up doing this thing where we lay in bed and change the color on one another over and over. They're very easy to set up and already come attached to each other so you really only have to set them up to connect to your internet as they connect over wifi and that's it. As long as they're connected via internet, they'll find each other. The lights are quite bright and will fill a small room with a lovely glow if it has no other lighting to compete with. The Bad: They're very expensive for what they are. They're made completely of plastic and the stained glass look, while very aesthetically pleasing, is just a black plastic lines melted over an opaque plastic box and then framed. I can't say with complete certainty, but the lighting, housing, and wifi adapter and Bluetooth adapter built into the system doesn't seem to account for the heavy price of these lamps. The lighting variety is wonderful, however, it isn't choosable. In the video, you'll see that every time I touch the lamp, it cycles between random colors. There's no perceivable way to choose specific ones. This is disappointing, as I would've loved to be able to choose certain colors for certain thoughts or feelings to portray to my girlfriend. Overall: I think you're paying for the novelty more than anything. I would look for some cheaper options. I would've happily paid less for less colors but with more control over the ones I could choose from. I'm happy enough with the ones I received and I'm going to keep them, but if I could do it all again, I would scour the internet for something more to my liking. This is a personal preference, mostly. If you don't mind the price tag and are good with the color-cycle mechanic, these seem to be sturdy enough to last a good while. ... show more

Got these lamps for my sister and mom (and myself) for mother's day. They both loved the lamps and we have been having a blast sending each other's colors across the US daily ever since. We live far away and this is the perfect way to let each other know we are thinking of them. I only rated 4 stars because my mom did have a really hard time with set up, but we think this was due to her having an older router. The company did reach out and worked with her to get a bridge delivered at no extra cost. The lamp has worked great ever since! If you know that your family's wi-fi set up is older, look into this option to send with the lamp because it was a bummer that it took my Mom almost a month to finally be able to connect to our network. ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my mother and the second lamp went to my sister, who lives across the country. This has been a phenomenal way of letting each other know that we're thinking of them. Even though I bought it for my mother, I also enjoy booping the lamp any time I walk by it. We have not had any issues with getting them set up, connected, managing the profile on the web portal or general usage. The instructions that came with it were pretty straight forward.
